G2 Esports has some of the most impressive players in the Americas region. jawgemo, leaf, trent, and valyn have all showcased oustanding skills by performing excellently in recent tournaments. Whether it’s jawgemo being a reliable duelist who can set up entries for his team, or leaf with his Viper, Fade, and Breach picks, G2’s roster is solid. But replacing JonahP with babybay could result in the team losing some steam.
While babybay has his moments of skill, he’s ultimately too unreliable and often doesn’t have any impact in some games.
By contrast, 100 Thieves now has a roster revolving around Cryocells, Assuna, and Bang, all of whom are excellent players with solid fragging and even carry potential. Paired with vora’s crucial initiating, 100 Thieves could really surprise G2.
