FURIA gets a chance at redemption at IEM Krakow 2026 after its recent losses near the finish line, but it’s up against one of the top teams in the current scene in the form of Team Spirt, and out preview shows how the match is expected to shape up for bettors looking to place wagers.

IEM Krakow 2026’s semifinal brackets don’t look especially shocking, with many of the usual top names still in contention. FURIA’s recent losses, however, had left fans wondering whether FalleN’s squad would even crack the event’s top six.

It has made it this far, but Team Spirit’s flawless run at the tournament so far makes them the last opponent FURIA would want to face while trying to redeem its form.

FURIA vs Spirit match preview

Betting tip: Team Spirit may be the oddsmakers’ favorites, but this semifinal has the potential to swing either way if FURIA’s form at IEM Krakow 2026 is taken on its own. If the map veto falls FURIA’s way and KSCERATO delivers early impact, FURIA could realistically take this match after dropping one map.

Our FURIA vs Spirit pick: Total maps to be over 2.5 at 1.85 odds.

FURA vs Spirit match analysis

Bettors have full faith in Spirit to take this match-up, and it’s not a stretch take if you take a look at FURIA’s results since its last big win at BLAST Rivals Fall 2025. Its loss at the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 was understandable, but PARIVISION’s clean sweep against FURIA at BLAST Bounty 2026 raised some serious questions.

IEM Krakow 2026 marks FURIA’s first event since that brutal loss, and the team already looks like it has taken something from it. Even though the Brazilian roster opened the tournament with a surprising loss to FUT, the response from there was quick and decisive.

Since then, FURIA has looked far more polished, even resembling its IEM Chengdu 2025 form. Even before FURIA showed that clear improvement, fans still had faith in the squad, and that confidence was reflected in our IEM Krakow 2026 betting preview.

This might have been FURIA’s shot at smoothly lifting a trophy, but Team Spirit is one opponent that could very easily break that dream. Coming in with three wins already over top-tier teams in Krakow, Spirit will be full of confidence. If Danil ‘donk’ Kryshkovets shows the same form he did against Astralis and NAVI, FURIA could be staring at a repeat of the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 outcome.

Still, this feels like the matchup FURIA is more likely to push through, and not because Team Spirit has shown any real weakness. The Russian core is riding a three-match win streak, but it has yet to turn wins like that into a trophy at any recent major event.

FURIA has a stronger track record in late 2025, and having already reached this stage, its chances of making the final look comparatively higher. With outright odds sitting at 4.40 and a clear uptick in form since BLAST Bounty, backing FURIA comes down to how much risk CS2 betting fans are willing to take.

That case is helped by FURIA’s win over Aurora, and for a team that has already beaten Falcons and MOUZ, that showed it wasn’t just a fortuitous result. KSCERATO 1.80 rating in that match underlined the improvement FURIA has shown throughout the event with its star player at the front.

At the moment, the Brazilian side looks well-placed to take this series, though the risk involved makes it a tricky spot for bettors looking at the odds.

FURIA vs Spirit picks and prediction

Team Spirit looks dangerous with donk fully warmed up after three consecutive wins, making them the safer pick here in theory. But if FURIA removes Dust2 early and steers the veto toward Nuke or Inferno, maps where they hold 87.5% and 70% win rates respectively, the matchup could look quite different. Avoiding Anubis and forcing Spirit off comfort picks gives FURIA a realistic path to steal the series.

If FURIA manages to carry its current streak of play into the semifinals, bettors backing them could be in for a big payout.
