This isn’t good news for the Falcons, a team that has hovered around the top at recent events but keep falling short of the top spot. Both teams have a lot on the line here, but one is clearly better positioned to actually take this series.

In the win over B8, production came from almost the entire roster of players, with Danil “molodoy” Golubenko doing some of the heaviest lifting. If FURIA brings that same balanced output to bear against Falcons, a single hot player may not be needed to swing the series, even if it goes to a full three maps.

It also doesn’t help Falcons’ case that it hasn’t beaten FURIA since March 2025, losing all four meetings against the Brazilian side since that time.
