FURIA came close to its late 2025 form at IEM Krakow 2026, setting up PGL Cluj-Napoca as the perfect stage to finally claim a desired victory. This isn’t good news for the Falcons, a team that has hovered around the top at recent events but keep falling short of the top spot. Both teams have a lot on the line here, but one is clearly better positioned to actually take this series.

FURIA vs Falcons match overview

CS2 betting tip: FURIA’s run is backed by the consistency it showed at IEM Krakow 2026, whereas Falcons hasn’t managed a win over the Brazilian side in nearly a year of head-to-head battles.

FURIA vs Falcons match analysis

Falcons has looked solid so far at PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026, easing past 3DMAX and FaZe in the group stage. Nikola “NiKo” Kovač was especially sharp against 3DMAX, posting a 1.7 rating in one of his strongest performances of 2026. He also had strong backing from Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov and Maxim “kyousuke” Lukin, which helps explain why esports betting sites are slightly favoring Falcons here.

But when you zoom out a bit, FURIA enters this tilt as the more convincing side. The Brazilians have shown better results recently and seem to have moved past the brief slump that followed a runner-up finish at IEM Krakow 2026. Prior Krakow, this may have been a clearer potential opportunity for Falcons, but FURIA’s resurgence there has clearly carried into Cluj-Napoca looking ready to have a shot at the trophy.

FURIA may not have had a headline star like NiKo in its early wins at Cluj-Napoca, but that’s exactly what strengthens its case here. In the win over B8, production came from almost the entire roster of players, with Danil “molodoy” Golubenko doing some of the heaviest lifting. If FURIA brings that same balanced output to bear against Falcons, a single hot player may not be needed to swing the series, even if it goes to a full three maps.

It also doesn’t help Falcons’ case that it hasn’t beaten FURIA since March 2025, losing all four meetings against the Brazilian side since that time. FURIA should carry confidence from IEM Krakow 2026, along with first place wins at BLAST Rivals Fall and IEM Chengdu 2025, making it the more convincing pick no matter what oddsmakers are suggesting.

FURIA vs Falcons picks and predictions

FURIA will enter with the more balanced form to take the series, particularly if it stretches to three maps with either Anubis or Nuke in play. Falcons would likely prefer a veto centered around Mirage and with fewer variables to consider.

Key team stats point toward FURIA holding the edge across most areas in this battle including overall map depth, making it the safer pick with a solid return available should the series go to the Brazilian team after a full three games.

FURIA vs Falcons prediction

Our pick: FURIA to win 2-1 at 3.7 odds via GG.BET.
