FlyQuest vs DSG match analysis
The 2026 LCS Lock-In split is already looking like the perfect comeback for the lapsed competition, with FlyQuest and DSG both having proven their skills to their fans. FlyQuest’s Massu and Cryogen are arguably the most reliable bottom lane in the region, and Gryffinn’s jungling was extremely impressive. Gakgos played well enough to even compete against former Cloud9 player Fudge in FQ’s match against Shopify.
The LCS veteran team seemingly went back to the drawing board after last year didn’t end the way the team wanted, and the new strategies were clear in the side’s first match back.
All of this isn’t to say that DSG will go down easily. The team may have created an entirely new roster, but it already shows signs of being an excellent lineup with enough experience and exposure to the big stage to play well from the jump.
In particular, Sajed looks to be an excellent ADC, and his performance with Lyonz as his support was DSG’s highlight in its win over Sentinels. Unfortunately for the team, the other players didn’t make their presence known as much in that match, which could spell trouble against a seasoned rival like FlyQuest.

Both teams have the potential to go far, domestically and even internationally. But DSG made some mistakes against Sentinels that could have led to the team’s instant loss against a better opponent. Actions like not ensuring lane priority before starting a jungle objective or not warding key areas for vision were clear signs of the team’s inexperience. Still, there’s a good chance that the high level of skill that DSG’s players bring to the table will lead to FlyQuest losing at least one map. Because of this, taking the over on 2.5 map may be the way to go here.
Their win in the first round should give DSG the boost in confidence it needs to be more aggressive. This could lead to the team getting an early kill for the bonus gold, potentially making DSG the team to side with for getting first blood as well given the better odds return.
While FlyQuest is more likely to end up as the overall series victor, DSG will likely impress viewers and could become a force to be reckoned with in the LCS before long.

FlyQuest vs DSG betting picks & predictions
DSG shows the potential to become one of the top teams in the North American region. But the team doesn’t have the experience required to reliably win against a team like FlyQuest, which has seasoned players dotting its roster including mid laner Quad. While the match could go to a third map, there’s a good chance that FlyQuest will ultimately come out on top.
Best picks
- DSG to get first blood @ 1.97: DSG will likely be more aggressive after winning its first match, potentially leading to an early first blood, even if there’s a good chance that FlyQuest will counter elsewhere on the map.
- Total maps to be over 2.5 @ 2.28: The surprisingly high skill level displayed by DSG’s players may help the team take this match to a third map.
