Fire in the Hole 4 Slot — Is This NoLimit City’s Biggest Adventure Yet?

If you thought the dwarfs were finally tired, then think again. Their latest NoLimit City outing lands on November 17, 2026 in the form of Fire in the Hole 4. The first three editions featured expanding rows, xBomb Wilds, and a bonus round with value enhancers. Well, that’s retained in this fourth outing, and there’s more — an upgraded reel with multipliers up to x100, infectious xWays, and a max win raised to 75,000x. Let’s take a closer look at exactly how this upcoming slot will play out.

Like all its sequels, Fire in the Hole 4 starts with a 6-reel, 3-row layout, with an expansion potential up to 6 rows. This is thanks to the collapsing waterfall feature, where each spin starts with 3 active rows and adds another for every collapse, going all the way to 6 rows. A winning combination, an xBomb Wild explosion, or a triggered the wild mining feature can trigger a new collapse.
The slot is extremely volatile, just like the first edition, but the RTP is where Nolimit City falls a bit short. It is slightly lower than the other three instalments before it, with the 96.01%, still high, yes, but it would need to be higher to be classed as enhanced. You can start your adventure with a bet size between $0.20 and $100 per spin and collect explosive wins to the tune of 75,000x in the base game.
Bonus Features

On to the bonus features:
- Collapsing waterfall – Each collapse adds an additional row, from 3 rows up to 6 rows.
- Wild mining – Triggers when you line up 3 to 6 vertically or horizontally, and no more winning combinations or active xBomb Wild. The responsible symbols are removed, creating wild symbols in the middle. You get 1, 2, 3, or 4 wilds when you align 3, 4, 5, or 6 symbols, respectively. Dirt Buried symbols are also revealed and will be active with the collapse.
- xWild Bomb Multiplier – Substitutes for all but bonus symbols, removes all symbols, and increases win multipliers by +1 for the following collapse. After an explosion, the xBomb can now convert to either a normal symbol, xBomb Wild, xWays, or infectious xWays.
- Buried features – Dirt symbols can contain xBomb Wild, xSplit, or bonus symbols. They become active when the dirt block surrounding them is hit or removed by the xSplit or xBomb feature.
- xWays & Infectious xWays – They can be revealed from an xBomb Wild symbol. They both transform into a normal paying symbol of size 2-4. But Infectious xWays has a special effect on the same symbol. It ‘infects’ the occurrences of the symbol and turns them into size 2-4 as well.
- xSplit – Splits symbols to double them, and once all are activated, they transform into regular paying symbols.
- Lucky Nugget Spins – 3+ bonus symbols activate this round that will begin with 3 spins. Each time you land a Nugget, the spins count reset to 3. Once the round is active, you’ll have 4 active rows, with Collector’s Chest at the bottom and an upgrade reel on the right. Nuggets and Dwarfs will move a position down on each spin until they are collected on the Collector’s Chest at the bottom row. The upgrade reel features random x2, x3, x5, x10, x25, or x100 multipliers.
For each spin, expect enhancers on the top row if a Nugget lands beneath. They can be either of the following:
- Nugget values: A value is set for the Nuggets.
- Multipliers: The value of all Nuggets is multiplied.
- Dynamite: Adds its count to the triggering Nugget and throws random Dynamites to the reel positions. It doubles the Nugget or Dwarf values once it lands and removes a locked position in the upgrade reel.
- Dwarf: Collects the Nugget values in the reels while transforming the triggering Nugget into a Dwarf.
- Freeze Cell: Locks Nuggets and Dwarfs in their reel positions until the Freeze spins awarded are used up.
- Evil Dwarf: Removes the triggering Nugget and multiplies the Collector’s Chest positions by 1x to 5x at random.
- Feature buy: You can buy into the game, where your next spin can award the following:
- Lucky Nugget spins with random enhancers at a price of between 650x and 1,500x
- A guarantee of 6 xBomb Wilds at 15x
- Activate all 6 rows at 8x
- A guarantee of bonus symbols at a price of between 2x and 5x
Always try the Fire in the Hole 4 demo before considering the use of the feature buy options, and stick to your set budget.

Fire in the Hole 4 Slot and Streamers
If it’s about entertainment, then Fire in the Hole 4 has got it. The storyline and visuals are enough pointers. For any streamer’s requirements, this slot fits the bill. The slot comes with xBomb Wilds, a bonus round with value enhancers and an upgrade reel with multipliers of up to x100, and of course, game xMechanics like xWays and xSplit.
The extreme volatility is another factor, along with different feature buy options and a 75,000x max win. Streamers Bean and Yassuo will testify to Nolimit City’s big wins. Yassuo in particular cashed out $341,680 on the Crazy Ex-Girlfriend slot.
☑️ My Take
Fire in the Hole 4 picks up from where its predecessors left off. The familiar mining storyline, expanding rows, explosive wilds, and a bonus round with loads of value enhancers. However, Nolimit City does it a bit differently with its fourth edition with infectious xWays, Lucky Nugget Spins with an upgrade reel, and a max payout of 75,000x. But even while it’s captivating, the 1 in 40m chance of hitting it is substantially worse than 1 in 14.3m in Fire in the Hole 3.
