Here’s the fastest way to level up in Valorant
Player level plays a huge role in Valorant, so players may want to learn the fastest way to earn experience and level up their accounts.
Valorant
is one of those games where players tend to sink countless hours into it without realizing just how much time has gone by, and most players would agree that playing competitively is more fun than regular game modes like unrated and swiftplay. The problem is that newcomers must level their account to unlock these higher-stakes modes of play.
Like numerous multiplayer titles, Valorant has a leveling system where every player progress over time through accruing experience. These levels showcase how much time a player has spent playing the game, and each account must hit a specific player level to unlock Valorant’s competitive mode. With that in mind, here is the fastest way players can level up in Valorant.
How to level up quickly in Valorant
Players can utilize XP boosts, in-game challenges, and winning matches to level up quickly in Valorant.
Valorant players can play in numerous modes after installing the game, but they don’t all net the same amount of XP. Players should avoid modes like swiftplay and deathmatch if trying to level up fast. These game modes don’t give players as much XP as the ranked and unranked queues, making them unnecessary in the short run.

Players can utilize in-game challenges to level up more quickly. Valorant has daily and weekly challenges that players can complete to gain massive amounts of XP. Gamers can find their active challenges by hovering over its icon on the top-right corner of the screen. These challenges can range from using abilities a specific number of times to winning games.
Players with Xbox Game Pass can gain a 20% XP boost for every match. Players can take advantage of this subscription benefit by linking their Riot account with a Microsoft account that has an active Game Pass subscription. This subscription will also
unlock every agent
for free, though they’ll be locked when should the subscription expire.
How to unlock competitive mode in Valorant
Players can unlock the competitive mode in Valorant by reaching account level 20.
Once players unlock competitive mode, they can climb the ranked ladder by performing well and winning matches. Players will remain unranked for the first five games before they are assigned their initial rank. Only solos, duos, trios, and 5-stacks can play ranked games. This limitation means that 4-player stacks must find or lose someone or play another mode.
If the squad isn’t a 5-stack, players need to be
in similar ranks, or they won’t be able to queue. This limitation doesn’t apply to 5-stacks, but if the ranks are far apart, the team will receive a 25% RR reduction. This ensures high-ranked
Valorant
players can’t quickly carry others to a higher rank.
