Fans are shocked by Forsen's rank in League of Legends

Twitch streamer Sebastian “Forsen” Fors has finally hit a coveted new rank in League of Legends, though it took him way more games than most fans and followers would have expected.

Forsen is one of the biggest streamers on Twitch, and a large reason for that is his variety of content. From streaming Minecraft to playing Valorant and more, the streamer has dabbled in multiple games. While he isn’t a professional in most games he plays, he usually plays well enough to climb the ranks and put on a show for fans.

The biggest exception to this matter has proven to be popular MOBA League of Legends. While Forsen finally hit a new rank milestone in the MOBA, it’s one that most players hit far faster than the retired Swedish Hearthstone player. Current and former fans of the streamer may wonder just how good Forsen is in League of Legends, and his rank speaks for itself.

What rank is Forsen in League of Legends?

Forsen finally achieved the rank of Silver in January 2025 after playing approximately 900 games to reach that level.

For context, the Silver rank is the third-lowest tier of ranked players in League of Legends, just above Iron and Bronze. While around 20% of players are in Silver according to League of Graphs, this mostly consists of players who play the game far less frequently and less seriously than Forsen does.

Forsen’s first on-stream game of League of Legends came when he began playing Teamfight Tactics in 2019, but he played on and off then. The streamer started playing League of Legends more seriously in April 2024, dedicating entire streams to marathons of the game. Forsen’s long-lasting elo limbo prompted his viewers to make memes and laugh at his expense, and the number of games it took him to reach Silver didn’t help.

The game to propel Forsen to Silver came when he played as Aurelion Sol. The enemy team surrendered around the 32-minute mark, marking a victory for his team and a celebration for the veteran streamer.

Will Forsen play more LoL after hitting Silver?

Forsen seems ready to continue his LoL ranked journey after reaching Silver rank, aiming to reach the Gold ranked tier next as soon as he capped his Silver accomplishment.

After reaching Silver, Forsen changed the caption of his streams to “Silver going for gold! Supa winstreaks all day!” Since it took so many games for the player to reach Silver, many fans believe the streamer will either get demoted or stay in Silver for quite some time rather than hitting gold anytime soon. A new running gag in Forsen’s community is fans asking stream snipers to ensure that Forsen doesn’t rank up any further.

It remains to be seen whether the streamer stays driven on his goal to reach Gold or if he gives up along the way. Perhaps another 900 or so games will do the trick.
