The Marvel Rivals Season 1 battle pass is almost here, with bloody new rewards and a theme that would give even Dracula nightmares.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting the first official Marvel Rivals season. Leaks have shown a vast array of new heroes slated for the future, as well as new maps, and more. Players now know that Marvel Rivals Season 1 will feature Dracula in New York with a vampiric army supporting the villain, and only the Marvel Rivals heroes can stop them through their combined efforts. New footage from streamer xQc shows the Season 1 battle pass in action, and heroes may have to sink to the vampires’ level in order to defeat them and unlock the full suite of rewards available.
Here’s each item coming in the Marvel Rivals Season 1 battle pass and how players can unlock them.
Every item in the Season 1 battle pass and how to unlock them
To unlock every item in the new Season 1 battle pass, Marvel Rivals will have to be ready to queue up for some new games. With Dracula’s arrival comes a darker battle pass, with bloodier hero skins and related items ready for players to unlock.
Twice the size of the Season 0 battle pass and running for a full three months, the Marvel Rivals Season 1 battle pass contains 65 items to unlock. Approximately half of the rewards are only available through the luxury battle pass. Those who pay will have access to nine exclusive cosmetic skins:
- All-Butcher Loki
- Blood Berserker Wolverine
- Blood Edge Armor Iron Man
- Blood Moon Knight
- Blood Soul Adam Warlock
- Bounty Hunter Rocket Raccoon
- Emporium Matron Scarlet Witch
- King Magnus Magneto
- Savage Sub-Mariner Namor

By comparison, the free Season 1 battle pass only grants one new Marvel Rivals costume: Blue Tarantula Peni Parker. Players can also get both gallery cards without paying any real money, one featuring the Fantastic Four and the other depicting Dracula taking over New York.
Each costumed hero comes with a mixture of free and luxury goods including emotes, nameplates, MVP animations, and sprays. Netease seems to alternate which rewards are locked behind the paywall, so one character may have their nameplate available for the free pass while another’s is only for paying players. Additionally, some heroes without featured costumes receive smaller cosmetics in the Season 1 battle pass. These include nameplates for Human Torch and the Invisible Woman, Susan Storm.
The last major rewards from the Marvel Rivals battle pass are lattice and units, both valuable in-game currency that can be used to purchase other digital goods in-game. Those who pay for the luxury pass can net 600 of each, with the free pass offers significantly less in the way of currency rewards.
How to get Marvel Rivals Season 1 battle pass rewards
Players have to decide between the free and luxury Marvel Rivals Season 1 battle pass, and then grind for Chrono Tokens over the next three months to progressively attain new rewards.
Season 1’s luxury battle pass costs 990 lattice, or approximately $10 USD. Lattice is currently only available through direct purchases using real money and can be used for premium battle passes or to convert to units and buy in-game cosmetics.
Once unlocked, both the free and premium pass require players to earn Chrono Tokens by completing challenges. Most items seem to cost between 200 and 400 Chrono Tokens. As the player collects more Tokens, more rewards will unlock for their use.
Importantly, once players purchase the luxury pass they retain access to it until they complete it. Marvel Rivals Season 1 is set to begin on January 10 and will last approximately three months. Those who want Blood Berserker Wolverine and other new skins included will have until the end of the season to purchase the premium battle pass.
