WIN.gg Ethics and Corrections Policy
As a hub for all things streaming, slots, and esports, WIN.gg plans and publishes every piece of content with great care and consideration. Our ethics policy is outlined in detail on this page, and it is fundamental to our online presence in conjunction with our editorial standards to ensure that we behave with integrity and accuracy at all times.

Ethical standards
At WIN.gg, we are committed to maintaining high ethical standards across all of our industry coverage. We want our website and social media presence to be a welcoming and reliable presence — and the following principles guide our reporting, editorial decisions, and content creation.
Fair reporting
In every piece that we publish, we aim for complete accuracy. This means reporting the facts and both sides of the story, giving relevant parties the opportunity to respond. While we offer contributors the opportunity to produce opinion pieces, these will be clearly marked as such, but they must still be factually accurate and respectful to differing viewpoints.
Our commitment is to report on industry events fairly, never knowingly publishing false or misleading information, and letting our readers draw their own conclusions. We will always correct any significant inaccuracies and update stories as more facts come to light.
Conflicts of interest
We are completely committed to maintaining editorial independence at all times and this means that contributors must disclose any personal or professional relationships that can compromise their independence.
This is so our reporting and coverage can be impartial and editorial decisions are never taken based on relationships with individuals, sponsors or organisations. Ultimately, our aim is to be a trustworthy, impartial and accurate source of information for our readers.
Crediting
We pride ourselves on our team of industry experts that produce original content across multiple industries — this includes the worlds of esports and casino streaming. We also utilize reporting, quotes and imagery from reliable third party sources, and when we do so we credit the original source accordingly.
Sources
We aim to rely on credible sources in all our reporting. This means that all claims can be verified and, wherever possible, this will be corroborated by multiple sources before publication. Additionally, in the case of controversy, claims and allegations we give all parties the right of reply in the interest of fairness. In the case of anonymous sources, we aim to only use these when information cannot easily be obtained on the record, and it is in the public interest.
At all times, we will never knowingly use or quote sources that we know to be misleading, inaccurate or behaving in bad faith.
Interviews
WIN.gg conducts interviews in good faith, aiming to always present answers as they appeared with full context provided. Interviewees will be given the opportunity to fully articulate their views and any follow up questions for clarity will also be reported in full.
When reporting the view of an individual in a story, requests for comment will always be made with a reasonable timeframe for rebuttals. In the case of pre-agreed embargoes, these will be respected in full.
