Esports Foundation Creator Program

The Esports World Cup is less than a month away, and there’s a new Esports Foundation Creator Program for those who want to get some rewards while growing their community.

The esports streaming scene exploded with the rise of creators such as Caedrel and TenZ. Watch parties for large tournaments have become extremely common now, pushing games and tournament organizers to center programs around them.

Since the Esports World Cup is on the horizon, the team behind it has kicked off the Esports Foundation Creator Program. There are rewards to be obtained for those who qualify, though learning some prerequisites is crucial first.

What is the Esports Foundation Creator Program?

The Esports Foundation Creator Program lets approved Esports World Cup co-streamers earn rewards by watching it with their communities.

The good news is that anyone globally can apply to become an official co-streamer. This is regardless of rewards eligibility, though that doesn’t mean that every platform is supported. While requirements may vary by region and platform, creators must have at least 50 active concurrent viewers and be in good standing with their platform of choice.

The partner platforms for the Esports Foundation Creator Program include:

The goal is to scale to 5,000 creators across new regions and platforms. Additionally, this program will run across both the Esports World Cup in Paris and the Esports Nations Cup in Riyadh. However, partnered streamers will have to apply again for the second event in November, even if they’re selected for the EWC.

Participating creators will be able to earn their share of $2 million, distributed in the form of exclusive merchandise, digital gift cards, and publisher rewards. These rewards can be earned through streaming for a long duration during the event, completing missions, accumulating points, and ranking well on the leaderboard.

Those who don’t qualify for rewards, primarily because of regional restrictions, can still apply to become an official co-streamer. The only information you must provide includes:

The program will kick off alongside the Esports World Cup tournament schedule. Campaign activations and reward opportunities will pop up throughout the event, which should help keep things even more interesting!
