Every game of CS2 starts with a pistol round, before any team has built their economy. A pistol round bet is generally done on a per-map basis, and is a simple bet of picking which team is going to win the pistol round for this map.
Handicap Markets

If you pick Team Vitality -3.5, they need to win 13-9 or better. Taking GamerLegion +3.5 means you only need them to win 10 rounds.
Totals (Over/Under)
If you don’t want to bet on which team wins, you can bet on totals, which focuses on how the game plays out.
You’ll normally see CS2 totals like these:
- Total maps in the series – over/under 2.5 maps
- Total rounds on a map – over/under 20.5 rounds
