ESL One Birmingham 2026

ESL One Birmingham 2026 is right around the corner, and it’ll be the first arena Dota 2 tournament in 2026. The previous tournaments this year were mostly played online or in studios, so this will feel a little different. These are the best Dota 2 teams to look out for at this event.

The Clear Title Contenders

Popular esports betting sites have these top three Dota teams coming into this event as clear favorites: Tundra Esports, Team Falcons, and Team Spirit. Team Liquid has not qualifies for this event so these three have the highest chance of claiming the title. See the full ESL One Birmingham odds table at the end of this article for reference.

Tundra Esports (odds to win: 5.5) have already proven themselves time and time again this year, having won trophies already. Their progress was slowed down at PGL Wallachia Season 7, with their carry player Pure failing to make it. But, they’ll be in full force in Birmingham.

The reigning TI champions Team Falcons  (odds to win: 4.3) have had a slow start to the year, primarily because they have also had roster instability, with ATF and Malr1ne missing out on events. However, similar to Tundra, they’re going into Birmingham with their full starting five and are looking to win their first trophy of the year.

Team Spirit (odds to win: 4) have played without their mid-laner Larl for almost the entire year so far. However, he recently made it back to the team after his hiatus. His first outing with the team this year was at PGL Wallachia Season 7, where they finished fourth. We think of Wallachia as Spirit’s warmup tournament, and now, they’re going into Birmingham ready to win.

Serious Challengers Lurking Behind

Though we have lots of faith in the three teams mentioned above, they don’t necessarily have a clear path to the final. There are challengers ready to strike at any time. These teams are Team Yandex, BetBoom Team, and Aurora Gaming.

Dark Horses to Look Out For

PARIVISION (odds to win: 6.5) are the defending ESL One champions, though they are only a shadow of their former selves. They haven’t been playing the greatest Dota as of late, but they certainly have the players and potential for a deep run.

OG Esports (odds to win: 18) have proven themselves to be a competitive team over the past six months. ESL One Birmingham could really be their big break if they come into this event prepared.
