DreamLeague Season 27 is the last big Dota 2 tournament of 2025, but who are the betting favorites to win, and which teams have the best odds to take advantage of?

Though Christmas is coming soon, Dota 2’s biggest stars are still busy. DreamLeague is bringing together all the top teams for a $1 million online tournament to close out the year. Picking the winners for Dota 2 tournaments has been tough over the last two years given how competitive the top of the scene has been. That doesn’t mean there isn’t a definitive favorite to win DreamLeague Season 27, though.

DreamLeague Season 27 schedule

DreamLeague Season 27 will close out the Dota 2 calendar in 2025 while giving players enough time to enjoy the holidays. The tournament begins with the group stage on December 10, which runs until December 16. From there, the event immediately jumps into the playoffs on December 17.

The grand finals take place on December 21, and will be played as a best-of-five series. All other matches will be best-of-three, in both the Swiss system and the knockout round.

Dota 2 betting odds as of December 7

Similar to last season, the 2025-2026 season is looking to be extremely competitive at the top with a big drop-off beyond the elite teams. It’s still not entirely clear where every team falls, but Dota 2 betting sites generally point to Team Falcons and Team Spirit as the frontrunners, with MOUZ, Team Liquid, and Tundra just a step behind.

DreamLeague Season 27 best bets, betting recommendations

Team Falcons being regarded as the top team in Dota 2 right now is completely justified. Since winning The International, the team has placed in the top four of all the tournaments it has played in, including a first-place finish at Fissure Playground 2.

Alongside Falcons, Spirit, MOUZ, Liquid, Tundra, and BetBoom have taken the top-four spots in almost every tournament hosted this year. The lone exception was Blast Slam 5, which Spirit, Liquid, and BetBoom didn’t attend. Worth noting is that Tundra looked particularly strong in Blast Slam 5, taking first place in emphatic fashion.

A case could be made that Heroic and Parivision are being undervalued by oddsmakers given that the two sides are ranked outside the top six.

Parivision was among the top teams in 2025 and kept its roster intact after The International 2025. It hasn’t posted any great placements since, but still looks the part of a legitimate contender.

Meanwhile, Heroic posted a top-six finish in TI and followed that by taking gold in Fissure Universe 7. The team has been able to take wins over many of those established elites in recent months, but hasn’t been able to string things together for long enough to post another grand final run. That could change at DreamLeague Season 27, but it’s also difficult to bet on them doing so.

All told BetBoom and Parivision may make for the best value bets at DreamLeague 27. The two sides have shown the form required to win at the game’s highest levels, and they offer significantly better returns than do the event’s top favorites Falcons and Spirit.

Where to bet on DreamLeague Season 27

GG.BET is the best site to bet on Dota 2, and on DreamLeague Season 27 in particular. Dota 2 is underserved by many esports betting sites. Counter-Strike 2, Valorant, and League of Legends get plenty of attention, but many sites only have a piecemeal offering for Dota 2 bettors.

Alongside outrights, GG.BET also has the best lineup of prop bets for big Dota 2 tournaments. This is ideal for hardcore Dota 2 esports fans in terms of both balancing risk and finding unique betting opportunities through which they can prove their expertise.
