Drake Kick channel seemingly deleted, fans wonder if he's gone for good
Canadian rapper Drake shocked fans when he made his apparent beef with Kick co-owners Eddie Craven and Bijan Tehrani public, and now his Kick channel has seemingly been deleted, further fueling speculation.
Drake is the most popular mainstream celebrity figure on Kick, and the rapper is quite active on the platform. He’s done everything from collaborating with mainstay Kick streamers like Adin Ross, to supporting other streamers in by participating in their chat rooms on the platform. The rapper’s charity streams have been his most acclaimed on Kick, but he recently made news because of an apparent beef with Kick’s owners.
Drake made his grief with the two owners public while watching along in Kick streamer Tyler “Trainwreckstv” Niknam’s chat. Many believed that the rapper was trolling and didn’t have any actual beef with Kick or its owners, but viewers were left surprised when just days later, Drake’s channel had seemingly been deleted.
Viewers speculate on Drake cutting ties with Kick
Drake and Kick haven’t issued any official statement regarding the rapper’s channel being deleted, but its disappearance has immediately fueled speculation that Drake may be cutting ties with the Stake-owned streaming platform.
Trying to open Drake’s
Kick channel
brings up a 404 error that states the page can’t be found. Social media accounts
discovered this almost instantly, and the news quickly began to go viral among supporters of both Drake and Kick. Many started theorizing that Drake had abruptly left Kick due to
his alleged beef
with the platform’s co-owners. Some fans have spoken up about how something similar happened to Drake’s Kick channel in 2024, and this latest circumstance seems quite similar to that one.
Kick
Drake had criticized Stake at the time, the online casino also owned by Eddie and Bijan, and his channel was taken down a short time later. The channel was left inaccessible for a few weeks, but Kick CEO Eddie Craven eventually made clear that Drake hadn’t been banned. He claimed the rapper had simply changed his username, making his Kick channel inaccessible. Not everyone believed Craven’s explanation, but there was little to be done about it.
Drake eventually returned, but now appears to be going through something similar yet again, though it’s unclear what the exact reason is for the disruption. Fans believe Kick may have banned Drake for calling out the platform’s owners. It’s also possible that the rapper deleted his channel himself due to his dissatisfaction with Kick.
Adin Ross
talked about Drake’s beef
with Eddie and Bijan, claiming that the rapper had told him he would stop most of his streaming activity on Kick as a result of the disagreement. Ross stated that Drake apparently told him he’d only return for certain streams, such as Adin’s Brand Risk.
