Drake sparks talk that he may have beef with the co-owners of Kick

Drake beef Kick owners

Popular rapper Drake has publicly called out Kick co-owners Eddie Craven and Bijan Tehrani, and fans are now confused as to whether there’s real beef between the three.

Drake is a significantly popular Canadian rapper who also streams on the livestreaming platform Kick, where has collaborated with such popular Kick streamers as Adin Ross and Félix “xQc” Lengyel. The rapper hosted a charity stream on Kick in April and is often active in various streamers’ chat rooms on Kick. Something Drake is also known for is his feuds, such as his years-long beef with fellow rapper Kendrick Lamar that culminated in Lamar using the halftime of a Super Bowl to perform a diss track aimed at Drake.

Viewers are now left wondering whether Drake is beefing with Kick’s owners, as the rapper has called the two co-founders out while chatting in Tyler “Trainwreckstv” Niknam’s stream.

Why did Drake call out the owners of Kick?

According to Drake’s messages in streamer Trainwrecks’ chat, Drake was seemingly angry that the Kick owners are making excessive money and living the high life without properly cutting others into their profits, including Drake himself.

Drake has previously appeared in streamers’ chats for various reasons and is regularly seen on Kick in one form or another. The rapper recently went into Trainwrecks’ chat to apparently vent his anger towards the two Kick co-owners. He called Eddie a “snake” while supporting Trainwrecks and wishing that he would pick up some big wins during his betting stream. This is relevant to the apparent beef with Kick’s co-owners as the pair are also the co-founders of Stake, the online gambling platform which Trainwrecks was betting through. In effect, Drake was wishing for Trainwreckstv to take money from the pockets of Craven and Tehrani by winning back on their casino games.

Drake’s outburst seemed artificial to some onlookers, as many viewers commented that the rapper may have just been egging Trainwrecks on. As one of the most popular streamers on Kick, Trainwrecks is known for his gambling streams and has won big on more than one occasion. One of his recent big wins led to Kick owner Eddie Craven seemingly getting quite angry during an online appearance. That reaction was also largely seen as a marketing maneuver meant to draw more interest in Trainwrecks’ streams and in both Kick and Stake overall.

Many fans feel Drake is also doing something similar here, as the rapper doesn’t have any publicly known reasons to call out the Kick owners and in fact seems to have benefited financially from his relationship with them. Drake did say something that stuck out to some fans, as he claimed he “was never allowed to push affiliate,” which might be a reference to a legitimate money issue between the parties.

It was unclear at the time whether Drake really was feuding with the Kick owners, but the general consensus among most viewers was that he was just having a bit of fun and trying to drum up interest.
