Donald Trump posts an image featuring crypto gambling platform Stake
US President Donald Trump shared an image that features him, Dana White, and Stake’s logo. This has led to people questioning whether the sitting president was promoting the crypto gambling site.
Trump’s Truth Social post has sparked a larger discussion on whether a president can share such images, which can be mistaken for marketing. Stake has collaborated with several prominent individuals, such as streamers, to increase its brand reach. Trump sharing the image, which is AI-generated, is part of a growing trend in gambling marketing.
What Trump’s Stake post means
Trump didn’t share any details and only shared the image that displayed him with the UFC president and the Stake logo. This has led to
rumours that Trump could make an appearance at UFC 327 in Miami on Saturday, while others are saying that he simply shared a photo that he liked, unaware of the logo.
Stake is not licensed for real money gambling in the United States, which has led to some to question whether a sitting president should be allowed to post something like this, even if it is light-hearted.

Trump shared the post at a time when there is a push towards adopting cryptocurrencies and
prediction markets
in the country. It’s unclear whether the two are linked to each other, but Stake is also a crypto casino, so it’s a possibility. Whether something comes out of this image remains to be seen.
It should be noted that, while Stake is not licensed for gambling in the US, the brand does have
Stake US
— a sweepstakes casino — which is available in multiple states.
How Stake’s streamer-driven gambling ecosystem operates
Stake’s marketing model is streamer-driven, with content creators featuring the platform in their streams, displaying big wins and casino games to their viewers.
Stake is widely
visible on many streaming platforms
worldwide. This reflects the platform’s strategy that focuses on influencers, streamers, and even clippers
sharing its content to attract new players. While it may prove to be more expensive, as a platform would need to sponsor top creators who have a large following, it can give a good return. Many top gambling streamers
have a large following, and they see the casinos featured in broadcasts. This is a type of visual marketing, where the potential customer sees the product and may be inclined to try it — and Stake is a leading
Bitcoin casino
in this respect.
Gambling sponsorships have become common in the streaming industry,
benefiting both
the casinos and the creators. However, such sponsorship has faced much criticism by those who claim
streamers don’t have to follow responsible gambling regulations, and it’s harmful for viewers. Despite criticism, gambling sponsorships are an important part of streaming, and gambling promotion is a trend that’s here to stay.
