Nmplol and malena

While Twitch streamer Nick “Nmplol” Polom and former partner Malena Tudi broke up in late 2024, a divorce petition suggests the former couple was actually married, much to the surprise of many of their fans.

While dating and relationships are usually private matters, it’s hard for streamers to keep their fans entirely in the dark. With their lives already on public display, many streamers opt to feature their partners on streams directly. While this can be good for content, especially if fans form a connection with the relationship, it’s equally hurtful if the relationship ends.

Such was the case with the OTP co-owner and content creator Nmplol and his partner, Malena Tudi. The streamer informed his fans that the two had parted ways in late 2024, though most fans assumed the couple were just long-term partners at the time. A divorce filing suggests that wasn’t the case, and that Nmplol and Malena were married.

Were Nmplol and Malena married?

According to a divorce petition filed by Malena in 2025, she had been married to Nmplol since 2015.

Malena had a frequent presence in Nick’s Twitch streams, though that changed in 2024. While Nmplol initially told fans it was because Malena was visiting her mother in Norway after surgery, he later revealed the couple had broken up. According to him, the former couple wanted different things with their lives. Third parties such as Chance “Sodapoppin” Morris backed this statement up by saying that things were messy before the announcement.

On February 10, 2025, YouTuber Henry Resilient posted a video highlighting the former couple’s divorce months after the original separation. The video showcases a divorce petition Malena filed between her and Nick in the District Court of Travis County, Texas. The petition, filed on January 16, 2025, states the two married on September 25, 2015. This would mean the couple has almost been married for a decade.

While not officially confirmed, many fans were quick to speculate that the marriage may have been how Malena was able to live in the United States for so long to begin with. Malena worked as an editor for Sodapoppin and Nmplol, though that arrangement wasn’t necessarily enough to explain her legal presence in the country.

Malena would have been 19 when the two allegedly married, while Nmplol was 24.

Why are Nmplol and Malena getting a divorce?

According to the divorce petition, Nmplol and Malena separated because of “discord and conflict of personalities” between the two.

The divorce may not be very smooth, as the divorce states Malena requests the court to divide their owned house between the two parties. With the house now being worth over $1 million, that’s a major hang-up for any potential sale. Additionally, both parties filed for the preservation of evidence, which includes text messages and other related materials that might impact divorce proceedings.

Nmplol filed a counter-petition that contrasts Malena’s request to let the court divide the house, instead wanting the former couple to come to an independent agreement. If they aren’t able to, he then also requests the court to divide the house according to the law.
