DeshaeFrost leaves Twitch for exclusive Kick deal
Popular variety streamer DeshaeFrost has announced his move to Kick, where he aims to become “one of the biggest streamers” on the platform.
DeshaeFrost is not a new name in entertainment. In fact, many of his fans know him from when he was just 16-year old opening comedy shows for comedians like Faizon Love, Tony Roberts, Tiffany Haddish, and more. But his career took a sharp turn in 2022 when he launched his Twitch channel, and since then,
he’s grown into one of the biggest names in the IRL streaming space.
Now, after four years on Twitch, the streamer has moved to Kick. The platform announced the news on X, and it has since been confirmed by DeshaeFrost on his final Twitch stream.
DeshaeFrost confirms Kick move
Fans suspected that a Kick deal was underway when DeshaeFrost posted about going live “exclusively” on Kick on May 14. The next day, Kick announced the addition of DeshaeFrost to its star-studded lineup of streamers that includes names like Felix “xQc” Lengyl, Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa, Adin Ross, and more.
DeshaeFrost announces his move to Kick.
DeshaeFrost has been streaming on Twitch for years, amassing 1.1 million followers through his IRL content, and
generating jaw-dropping income. His tenure on the platform hasn’t been without controversy, including accusations of battering a woman in a resurfaced clip, but he has remained on Twitch for four years, during which he’s been banned three times. However, all of those bans were eventually lifted, helping him create a massive community of fans.
So, when DeshaeFrost bid his fans goodbye on Twitch, it was naturally quite emotional.
“I love you guys. I’m switching to Kick now. We’re gonna start over, but we’re not starting from over. I’ll be one of the biggest streamers. I appreciate you guys. See you there, love y’all,” DeshaeFrost said on his last Kick stream.
He has previously shown interest in
gambling and online slots, a category that’s heavily restricted on Twitch. Kick, on the other hand, has become a hub for gambling streams in recent years, with streamers like Trainwreckstv reportedly earning millions in a single day.
DeshaeFrost had already been gambling regularly on Kick before signing his exclusive deal, so fans can expect more regular slot content now that he’s there full-time.
