Is Corpse Husband ever coming back? Valkyrae shares update to fans
Corpse Husband grew into a streaming phenomenon seemingly overnight before disappearing, and popular streamer Valkyrae has an answer for the many fans hoping to see him coming back soon.
The mysterious and faceless Corpse Husband was making music, playing Among Us with some of the biggest streamers in the world, and sharing health and anxiety concerns with his growing fan following. Then, he disappeared. He hasn’t been seen online since 2021 and fans have been concerned. Now, his friend and fellow streamer Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter has shared new information about Corpose Husband’s return.
And according to Valkyrae, Corpse Husband fans probably shouldn’t hold out much hope for a comeback in the near future.
Valkyrae discusses a Corpse Husband return to streaming
During a stream
focused on Pokemon, Valkyrae responded to fans that were concerned about Corpse Husband’s sudden disappearance from the internet and hopeful for his return. It’s now been several years since Corpse Husband last narrated horror stories or made any new music. With Corpse Husband
suffering from health concerns, including gastroesophageal reflux disease, fans have been worried about the missing streamer.
“I feel bad for his fans that worry and miss him,” Valkyrae said. “I definitely miss streaming with him as well. He’s off the internet because he wants to be off the internet. And I think he’s happy with where he is right now.”
Valkyrae told her fans that the missing content creator still games “off-stream,” sometimes with Valkyrae and other content creators. He’s “good,” she said, but remains uncomfortable with the idea of returning to the spotlight.

Many are likely relieved to hear that Corpse Husband is still gaming, since he previously told viewers that he played video games to distract himself “from the pain.” In 2021, the shy streamer admitted that he didn’t want to stream anymore since he was uncomfortable with people watching him. A few years later, he
popped up on TikTok
with some music-related content. But he’s been silent ever since.
Why won’t Corpse Husband reveal his face?
Corpse Husband has never done an official face reveal, apparently due to shyness and anxiety. Instead, he once showed a blurry image of himself wearing a mask, which led to a ton of fan art with fans thirsting over what they imagined the mysterious streamer could look like. In the past, the content creator has also said that he wears an eyepatch when he games due to light sensitivity in one of his eyes.
Due to his anxiety, Corpse Husband has stated that he prefers to remain anonymous. He has shown his hand a few times, which appears veiny and covered in rings. This only increased the amount of fantasies over his possible appearance, but he continued to hide behind the camera.
Rumors have circulated about potential face reveals of Corpse Husband in the past, but none of those reveals have ever been confirmed.
