PGL Bucharest’s Counter-Strike tournaments have a built-in third-place decider match and FaZe Clan will take on Complexity Gaming to determine who gets the proverbial bronze medal.

While PGL tournaments are often fun, Bucharest has been downright dramatic. That’s actually built over time, too. Case and point? The two matchups on finals day.

G2 Esports and Team Falcons will face off in the finals after reports of the former’s roster being poached yet again. In the third-place decider, Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski will take on his former team. Here’s a full betting breakdown of this match.

FaZe Clan and Complexity Gaming will play in a best-of-three decider match in the PGL Bucharest playoffs on April 13, 2025. The match is a best-of-three series. PGL doesn’t have a defined seasonal structure like BLAST or ESL events, so teams are only playing for pride and prize money; the winner gets $75,000 while the loser gets $43,750

FaZe Clan’s run in PGL Bucharest is eerily similar to the team’s run in PGL Cluj-Napoca. FaZe had a bit more trouble advancing out of the group stage, but advanced to the playoffs by beating Apogee Esports, Pain Gaming, and Rare Atom.

Complexity Gaming has had a surprisingly strong showing in PGL Bucharest, despite underwhelming throughout 2025. The team started the event by beating now-finalists Team Falcons and got into the playoffs with wins over Furia and FaZe Clan.

It drew Aurora Gaming for the semifinals, arguably the strongest team in the whole event, but pulled off a wild 2-1 upset. Unfortunately for Complexity, it fell short of the finals after taking a loss to G2 Esports. The Complexity Gaming roster includes these players:
