Brant is slated to join Wuthering Waves’ character roster very soon, and players are already scrambling to figure out which ascension materials he’ll need.
Brant’s confirmed for version 2.1 as the next five-star resonator, arriving alongside Phoebe. His drip marketing campaign only confirms he’s a Fusion sword unit, but credible leaks suggest he might be a niche healer armed with fusion and resonance skill damage amplification who’s able to weave between melee and mid-range attacks. If this turns out to be true, he could become the best-in-slot support for Changli.
The Captain of the Fool’s Troupe’s release might still be weeks away, but that doesn’t mean players can’t start pre-farming for him. Here’s the complete rundown of all Brant materials in Wuthering Waves, and the best ways to get them.
To get Brant to level 90, players will need ascension materials including various rarities of Tidal Residuum, Blazing Bones, and Golden Fleece.
Outlined here is the full breakdown of what he needs to reach max level:
Wuthering Waves 2.0 brought a slew of new content, which means there are fresh upgrade materials to farm including Tidal Residuum. To get it, players need to explore Rinascita and take down enemies like Fae Ignis, Nimbus Wraith, Questless Knight, Diurnus Knight, and Nocturnus Knight. They’ll drop different amounts and rarities of Tidal Residuum.
Head over to the Figurehead’s Shrine in the Penitent’s End area and take on the Dragon of Dirge boss. This new addition to the WuWa bosses can be found exclusively in the Rinascita region. By spending some waveplates, players can earn the new development material, Blazing Bones.
Golden Fleece is a new local specialty unique to Rinascita. While waiting for the Dragon of Dirge boss to respawn, Wuthering Waves players can take some time exploring the rest of the area to find Golden Fleece. A huge abundance of the material can be spotted near the resonance nexus in Figurehead’s Shrine and near the beacon next to Fool’s Elysium.
Getting Brant’s forte skills in WuWa to their peak requires Tidal Residuum, The Netherworld’s Stare, and Metallic drips.
Here’s a full materials listing for Brant:
By facing one of Wuthering Waves’ weekly bosses, Hecate, players can obtain The Netherworld’s Stare. After completing Chapter 2, Act 3 of the main quest, players can access its domain located near Ragunna City in Rinascita. Collecting drops from it requires players to spend 60 waveplates per run, so if players are planning to max out all of Brant’s forte they’ll need to be ready to invest a lot of waveplates.
Metallic drips on the other hand are materials needed to upgrade several weapons and fortes. The most straightforward way to farm them is by entering Forgery Challenge: Flaming Remnants, located in the Sea of Flames area in Huanglong. Other sources include spending special currencies at the Souvenir or Weapon Shop.
