Kick has banned streamer Clavicular after an apparent incident involving a potential stalker and a Cybertruck that occurred during a live broadcast.

Clavicular is a Kick streamer who is known for his IRL streams, and some his self-improvement videos that have been going viral of late. The streamer is also known for his controversial nature, which seemingly goes hand-in-hand with his IRL niche. He recently set a Kick record in receiving the most donations during a single stream on the platform, speaking to his success.

Clavicular was also in the news because he shared that he might consider a switch to Twitch, and now Kick has suddenly banned him, fueling more speculation of a potential swap.

While there is no official confirmation about why specifically Kick has banned Clavicular, the suspension was imposed quickly following clips of the streamer seemingly hitting someone in his Cybertruck during a livestream.

Clips surfaced across social media showing someone jumping onto Clavicular’s Cybertruck, and the streamer then driving forward. It’s unclear from the clips whether the person was hurt or whether the event might even have been staged, as some onlooker have suggested.

In another clip, Clavicular was seen talking to apparent law enforcement or security personnel, claiming that the person had a weapon. Noted Kick streamer Adin Ross talked to Clavicular during the stream, recommending to him that he limit who he talked to and what he said, and that he stream any interactions so that he would have them on record following the apparent incident.

Kick took down Clavicular’s channel almost immediately after the incident, which prompted viewers to speculate that it was almost certainly the reason why the platform banned him. There has been no official confirmation from Clavicular or Kick about the reasoning behind his suspension, or the health of the person who was apparently struck by the Cybertruck. There also hasn’t seemingly been any comment from a member of law enforcement.

Clavicular has, however, spoken out about his Kick ban, threatening that he might leave the platform for Twitch should the suspension remain on his channel.

The community reaction was instantaneous, with many claiming that Clavicular should be arrested, and that just being banned from Kick wasn’t enough. Some clips of the same individual were shared on social media, with claims that he apparently stalked multiple streamers including Clavicular. The allegation that the individual is a stalker remains unconfirmed, but most viewers agree that even if it’s true, hitting someone with a car for stalking is extreme.

This incident has also opened up a larger discussion on the potential negative effects of IRL streaming, on Kick and elsewhere.

There have been multiple public incidents that have led to arrests or to someone being hurt. Amaris “Xenathewitch” Xena struck a bysander with a paintball gun, leading to her arrest and ensuing Kick ban. Paul “Ice Poseidon” Denino was kicked from a cruise ship for being a public nuisance while livestreaming. This latest incident involving Clavicular has only added fuel to that fire.
