Cinna, Valkyrae’s Sisathon stream called off after stalker

Brittany “Cinna” Lynn Watts and Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter have unexpectedly ended their Twitch Sisathon marathon streamafter they were pursued by a stalker while live, and fans want to know whether they’re safe.
Cinna and Valkyrae’s Twitch marathon stream was already in the news because viewers claimed the content wasn’t up to the mark. After facing comparisons with popular streamer Kai Cenat, Cinna hit back at the claims. She stated she didn’t have a team or financial backing to put on such a production herself. The streamer alleged that some people used low moments to judge the stream instead of looking at the event as a whole. Now, the Sisathon is in the news once again after it’s been called off entirely.
On March 3, Cinna and Valkyrae called off the Sisathon stream because they felt threatened while streaming.
Cinna, Valkyrae, and Emiru were stalked during live stream
Cinna and Valkyrae announced the end of their marathon after they were stalked and threatened live on stream.
On March 3, Cinna, Valkyrae, and OTK member Emily “Emiru” Schunk were doing an IRL live stream when a stream sniper accosted them. In a video, the trio can be seen exiting a ferris wheel at Santa Monica Pier when a man asks for Cinna’s phone number. Cinna told him she didn’t have a phone and attempted to walk away. The man claimed he’d continue to follow her and began walking behind the streamers.

While following the streamers, the man told the streamers, “let’s fight right now,” and tried to charge at them aggressively. The visibly shaken content creators had to involve security to protect themselves. The livestream was unexpectedly cut short, but Cinna and Valkyrae issued statements on their X accounts to update fans on the situation. Cinna stated that all three of them were safe, but they were shocked and needed to end the marathon early after the confrontation with the stalker.
Valkyrae also informed fans about their safety and stated that they had filed a police report. The streamers found much support from other content creators and the community. Viewers questioned how a stalker could feel comfortable creating a dangerous situation for the streamers in a public place. Many urged stricter action against such stalkers so female streamers don’t need to fear for their safety.
After the incident went viral, viewers recognized the stalker as he had been following the streamers for a while. The stalker took a picture with the streamers earlier during the stream and then apparently changed his clothes so he could make a repeat appearance without their knowledge. Some viewers shared old clips where the same stalker had apparently followed the three streamers in the past. This prompted a larger debate within the community regarding the safety of IRL female streamers.
