After an entire stream of decent wins, the Kick streamer Carlu managed to turn $500 into high four-figures with a lucky six-scatter spin to end on a major high.

It isn’t a stretch to say that every online gambling streamer is constantly chasing scatter symbols. With the ability to trigger bonus games, these symbols can help streamers get some viral clips through insane wins, especially if they trigger a secret bonus game that can’t be bought. After all, there’s a reason almost all of the wins in our Big Wins Tracker include bonus games.

Something similar happened to the Kick streamer Carlu when he was playing the Ocean Surge slot. While he likely didn’t expect it, a single spin turned his luck around and got him the win he was chasing.

How Carlu won over $8,000 on the Ocean Surge slot

The streamer Carlu was going through multiple online gambling slots on Roobet, from Clown Cove to Viking Roosh 1000. He eventually launched the Ocean Surge slot by Elevation, hoping that it would give him the wins that he couldn’t get even by buying multiple extra spins on Outsourced.

Carlu bet $1, which doesn’t seem all that impressive. However, he then triggered the Mystery Change bonus buy, which bumped up the cost of his spins to $500. On the upside, they made it so that he’d have a 1% chance of getting six scatter symbols, a 10% chance of getting five, a 19% chance of getting four, and a whopping 70% chance of not getting any scatter symbols at all. While the risk was definitely high, there was a chance that he could walk away with much more money than he’d bet.

Right out of the gate, it seemed like Carlu’s luck was shining that day. The first spin alone won him over $3,000 thanks to getting five scatter symbols and triggering the super bonus. Shortly after, the streamer pulled six scatter symbols, and that’s when things were taken to the next level. This bonus game gave 10 free spins and ensured that the multiplier would apply to all wins regardless of anchors, which could go really high depending on how many clams the player could collect.

As the spins continued, Carlu kept collecting more clams. In the end, the streamer’s global multiplier was up to a substantial 160x, and that’s before the spins even started. Carlu kept finding multiple high-value symbols that resulted in wins, giving him a final payout of $8,288. Not bad at all for a $1 bet!

While the win was nowhere near as substantial as streamers such as Trainwreckstv find on a regular basis, it’s arguably just as impressive given the initial wager. Those who want to give it a shot can check out our Roobet review to see why Carlu decided to go with the gambling platform.
