Can you walk in Marvel Rivals on PC?
Curious PC players may find themselves wondering whether it’s possible to walk in Marvel Rivals on the platform, and the answer may not be what they want to hear.
Marvel Rivals may have extremely fast-paced gameplay, but the primary reason many players gravitated toward it was its affiliation with Marvel. The game’s roster, maps,
and character abilities
are all Marvel-themed, ensuring players can fill the shoes of their favorite characters.
To take that feeling even further, some players want to be able to walk with their favorite characters instead of simply running around all times. However, walking in Marvel Rivals can get a little confusing, especially for PC players.
How to slow walk in Marvel Rivals
Players can slow walk in Marvel Rivals by slightly pushing the left analog stick forward while using a controller.
Like most third-person games, the only way to walk in Marvel Rivals is by not moving the left analog stick fully toward the intended direction. Players should slightly push the stick toward the direction they want their character to walk as it works in any direction, including moving backward.

PC players can connect a controller and use its left analog stick to walk in-game. Since the keyboard’s W, A, S, and D buttons are used for default movement and are binary in nature, the amount of force someone puts on the keys doesn’t matter.
Marvel Rivals
doesn’t have a button specifically for walking, so PC players can’t slow walk using a keyboard and mouse. It’s unknown if a future update will add an option for players to walk using their keyboard.
While slow walking doesn’t give players any tactical or competitive advantage, it does look more stylish. Those wanting to take a screenshot or clip of their characters while walking can do so using a controller.
Can you use a controller to play Marvel Rivals on PC?
Using a controller to play Marvel Rivals on PC only requires players to connect their controller before playing regularly.
Marvel Rivals has built-in controller support, ensuring PC players can play with a keyboard and mouse or controller. This applies to GeForce Now, Steam Link, and PlayStation Remote Play, so the player’s platform doesn’t matter. On the other hand, Marvel Rivals doesn’t
support keyboard and mouse on consoles.
There are two primary methods to connect a controller to play
Marvel Rivals. The first is a wired connection while the second is utilizing wireless capabilities. Controllers like the DualSense wireless controller have built-in Bluetooth connectivity making linking it to PCs convenient.
