BLG's 2026 MSI team

BLG and T1 are among the favorites to win the 2026 MSI tournament, which is why so many fans are anticipating their match in the bracket stage’s first round.

After BLG’s performance at last year’s World Championship, those who haven’t kept up with the team’s performance may not expect much from it. However, with the LPL team’s revamped roster and strategic approach to League of Legends, there’s a good chance that it’ll more than give T1 a run for its money.

BLG vs T1 match overview

Betting tip: BLG and T1 are both looking in top condition, suggesting that this match may be a complete back-and-forth.

Our BLG vs T1 pick: Total maps to be over 4.5 at 2.74 odds.

BLG vs T1 match analysis

Many teams have seen updates and revamp this year, but BLG adding Viper has to be the most impactful. The ADC practically carried Hanwha Life Esports on its back last year, and he has already started shining on his new team. He’s one of the most consistent late-game ADCs with excellent positioning and high mechanical skills.

This doesn’t mean that the rest of the team is slacking. Bin has started playing more passively, and Xun’s jungling almost always ensures his team secures the Baron. ON is an extremely aggressive support who constantly sets up kills for his team, while Knight’s space control makes him a menace in lane.

T1 is also in an excellent state. Keria continues to be the team’s shining light, with Peyz following the support player to become a strong carry. While Doran’s recent performance has been nothing short of impressive, Faker and Oner seem to be slightly lagging behind their teammates. While this wasn’t an issue against the fairly weak teams in the play-in stage, BLG is no slouch.

There’s a strong chance that this match will go the distance. Both teams are looking strong, and winning here will give a huge advantage to the better team. Taking the over on 4.5 maps may be the way to go, especially considering the high potential return. BLG’s early game is also fairly strong, potentially making it the pick for securing the first dragon and potentially Baron. However, T1’s initial aggressiveness could give it first blood.

As for the winner, it’ll likely be tough. T1 has pulled out some miracle wins recently, but those were primarily against less impressive teams. If BLG can actually hold its lead, then there’s a good chance that it may emerge as the victor in this match.

BLG vs T1 betting picks & predictions

The LPL and LCK are among the most competitive regional League of Legends leagues. While T1 barely made the cut for MSI, Bilibili Gaming absolutely dominated the opposition. The consistently strong performance BLG has brought to the table recently could help it win this match, sending the reigning Worlds champions to the lower bracket.
