BETBY Launches SlotBets Product

BETBY has shaken up the sports betting experience with the release of SlotBets on September 8. The sports betting solutions provider, which has been operating in the industry since 2018, has built a reputation for innovation through its focus on developing new and creative betting products.
SlotBets sees BETBY combine the mechanics of traditional slot games with live sports betting, offering a unique way for players to engage with sporting events. The Malta-based company has a range of partners including QTECH Games, Vibra Gaming, NGX and Elantil.
BETBY’s busy year
2026 has been a year of releases for BETBY, with BETBY Predictions — a fixed odds product for sportsbooks — launched on April 1, and Watch & Bet — interactive betting combined with live streaming — introduced on August 20. The latest release of SlotBets looks to further enhance BETBY’s presence in both the sports betting and casino markets.
The new BETBY SlotBets allows users to bet on live sporting events using slot-style mechanics, with real-time action determining the outcome of each round. BETBY describes SlotBets as the first product of its kind to enter the betting and iGaming markets, with the format designed to bridge the gap between sportsbook and casino gameplay. The concept, which BETBY refers to as “slotbetting,” gives bettors another way to engage with their favourite sports while incorporating familiar elements of slot titles.
How it works
BETBY SlotBets is centred around betting rounds that each last 15 seconds, all of which are linked to sports events as they occur. The new product delivers on the instant nature of real-time action in sports betting alongside the dynamics of casino gameplay, including reels and multipliers.
SlotBasketball is the first offering from SlotBets. 15-second rounds are split into three five second windows, each of which is linked to three reels. Outcomes including a three-pointer, two-pointer, missed shot, foul and so on are recorded on the reels. These then offer the user a combination that can result in payouts. Added features such as multipliers can give the bettor an increased chance of winning, but the ultimate decider on this is the result of the game on which they have placed a wager.
SlotBets has been designed for bettors to enjoy both sports betting and casino action concurrently at the same operator. Players who have only used casinos previously will be able to try their hand at sports betting due to their familiarity with slot games. Sports bettors, meanwhile, get the opportunity to enjoy their favoured events in a more engaging manner.
BETBY’s aim
Kirill Nekrasov, Head of Innovation and R&D at BETBY, said: “SlotBets started with a very simple question: why should a casino player need to become a sportsbook expert before they can enjoy betting on sport?
“We wanted to create something immediately understandable, but still genuinely powered by the live event. That is why the sport cannot simply be decoration around a casino mechanic. Every basket, miss, foul, stoppage or quiet interval can influence the game, so the match is continuously building the SlotBet in real time.
“Our ambition goes beyond launching one new product. We believe SlotBets Games can develop its own recognisable mechanics, terminology and player expectations, in the same way that categories such as Crash Games did before. We are introducing a new way to play sports, and we call it slotbetting.”
BETBY chose basketball as the first sport for SlotBets because it is fast-paced and features frequent markers of progress that can easily be measured. SlotBasketball makes breaks in the game part of the action with a Pause Bonus, whereby eligible stoppage time can earn players a multiplier that can give them the edge on winning payouts.
SlotBets is set to be offered in the world of esports too. Games such as eSlotSoccer, eSlotCricket, eSlotHockey and eSlotPingPong aim to bridge the gap between natural downtime that occurs in the availability of traditional sports betting.
