April showers give way to new May slots, and that’s as true this year as it is any other. May has already seen a handful of new online slots launched and put in store for players looking for some exciting ways to shake up their betting experience. Featuring everything from fresh sweets to popular films and mythical beings, these are the best online slots that have been released in the month of May 2025.
Online slots have come a long way from the days of basic fruit slot machines on the ground floor of a far-away casino. Now, there are endless themes and gameplay features on offer to satisfy all types of slot players across online casinos that can be played at from the comfort of your own home. These are the online slots with the most fun themes and the biggest available wins in May 2025.
Funkin’ Donuts
This is one unique online slot, as it features bright and sugary pastries all over its background and colorful gummies on its grid. Meanwhile, there’s upbeat funk music playing and some very satisfying sound effects accompanying the action as more goodies fill the grid whenever players take a spin. It’s like a game of Candy Land, but a lot more exciting and groovy.
There’s a chance to get 15,000x per round in Funkin’ Donuts thanks to its cascading feature that reveals multipliers and winning clusters more often to enterprising players. Clusters are boosted by a tracker with random multipliers, which can combine for a win up to 200x. A Super Multiplier can also be triggered. Multipliers are applied to clusters of four or more matching symbols and multipliers can even combine if the same positions are occupied by new clusters after. This game is just as sweet as it looks.
The Goonies Megaways: Quest For Riches
Talk about nostalgia! This online slot is based on the 1985 film of the same name, and maker Blueprint Gaming really kept true to the movie’s style and vibe. Players will spot plenty of recognizable characters as symbols, and the epic music, background, and sound effects really drive home that action-film feeling.
There are 15,625 ways to win in The Goonies Megaways and plenty of fun features to experience. When Sloth appears, modifiers are triggered for even bigger wins, and players really tend to love the Cash Collect feature that lets players win hard cash whenever they land on Cash Collect symbols on reels 1 and 6 on the grid. Trail bonuses are also unlocked, increasing the win amount. It’s a really dynamic slot that has plenty of fun features to uncover as you go, whether you were a fan of the original movie or not.
Games in Olympus 1000
Greek mythology is having a moment in the online slot world, and it’s continuing through the month of May. One of the latest examples is Games in Olympus 1000, which features tumbling reels on a 6×5 grid. Matching between eight and 30 symbols will score a win for players, and hitting four scatters awards players with 15 free spins. Finding five multiplier symbols enhances the payout by up to 1,000x, thus the name of the game.
Games in Olympus 1000 has realistic visuals and intense music that make players feel like they’re in an exciting fantasy film set in within ancient mythical Greece. There’s plenty of gold and other eye-catching visuals to be found all over the grid here, and the tumbling effect is quite satisfying, particularly when it leads to some big wins.
Unlimited Tower
This online slot takes place at a demolition site where the goal is to take down a building set for, you guessed it, demolition. TNT symbols act as scatters, triggering bonuses when there are three or more on the grid. The game starts with five free spins but that can quickly become 20 free spins as players find more and more scatters. Getting a matching cluster of five or more symbols will trigger an explosion, blasting those symbols right off the grid. This will cause a building collapse, with new symbols dropping into the place of the old ones.
Unlimited Tower has a pretty low RTP at 88.30%, but there are tons of high-paying symbols, wilds, and other bonus opportunities that can add up in a big way for lucky players. The destructive theme is also quite enjoyable if you’re having a bad day and just want to knock something over, and this all adds up to make it one of the best and most intriguing slots to come out in May 2025.
