Best Dota 2 Teams in 2026

We’re currently in one of the most competitive eras in Dota 2, as many teams have the potential to win an event. But, even though the playing field is very even right now, some squads still manage to win out more often than others.
Below are the top 10 best Dota 2 teams this year, including details on their recent successes and any question marks that remain.
#10 Natus Vincere

NAVI went for a risky move, dropping their main main roster and promoting their entire academy team – but so far, it’s paying off. The Ukrainian organization hadn’t been competitive for the last eight years, but this young roster is putting them back on the map after qualifying for The International 2025.
This young NAVI squad isn’t quite ready to lift trophies just yet, but we’ll almost always see them make respectable runs at top-tier events. Sometimes, they even make deep ones, like their grand final appearance at BLAST Slam VI. Overall, this is a team with extremely high potential that is definitely one to watch in 2026.
#9 Xtreme Gaming

Xtreme Gaming are trying their best to put China back on the Dota 2 map. Their roster is full of big names from the country, including heavy hitters like Ame and fy.
The main issue is Xtreme Gaming can be a little inconsistent at times. Sometimes, they can make very deep runs, like finishing second at The International, but when they don’t they could get eliminated from tournaments very early on.
Still, we almost always see Xtreme Gaming show up to every big event, and when they’re playing well, they can be a really difficult team to beat. The next step will be to add consistency to performances.
#8 Aurora

Aurora is a roster on the rise. The Eastern European squad recently tore down their regional borders and reached out to Southeast Asia for help, recruiting Mikoto and Ws to join their ranks.
So far in 2026, it really looks like their plan is working out. The team went on a record-breaking 31 undefeated streak. During the process, Aurora won FISSURE Universe: Episode 8 and even placed second in DreamLeague Season 28, defeating many top teams.
Though they’ve been playing out of their minds lately, we won’t rank them any higher, as their recent performance could have been a one-off. They’ll have to prove they can make even more deep runs in other tournaments before we rank them any higher but the potential is clear to see.
#7 BetBoom Team

The BetBoom Team is another squad with insane mechanics, and their player to watch is mid-laner gpk. He’s been pulling enormous weight for his team and is currently looking like a top-three mid player in the entire world.
This Russian squad has an extremely high ceiling, but their Achilles’ heel has always been their consistency. Sometimes, the BetBoom Team can make deep runs, or even lift a trophy. But other times, they completely crash out of tournaments in the group stage without leaving a trace.
If BetBoom can find more stability in their roster, they certainly have the potential to go extremely far.
#6 Team Yandex

In the first few months, Team Yandex didn’t really look like a competitive team. They were barely making it past open qualifiers, and clearly couldn’t compete with the best in the world.
However, results took a complete turn when Saksa decided to join the team. In the first tournament with the former Tundra player on board, the team immediately improved and finished top three at an elite event. Yandex rallied their momentum and even won DreamLeague Season 27, marking the first Tier 1 trophy for everyone on the team except for Saksa.
Fast forward to today, Yandex still look like a top contender at every tournament, and usually have no trouble making it to the playoffs at every event.
#5 PARIVISION

PARIVISION is the biggest loser on this list from 2025 to 2026. After winning several S-tier tournaments and finishing top three at The International 2025, the roster has found themselves in a long slump ever since losing their coach, Astini.
Due to the drought of results, PARIVISION made some big decisions, bringing in Dota 2 legend Puppey as their coach. Then, they replaced DM with tripleS in the offlane.
But, these changes take time, and it’s clear PARIVISION have been visibly struggling this year. We imagine it will take some time for the team to sort out their issues before they can lift trophies again on a regular basis — and the odds reflect that at Dota betting sites.
#4 Team Spirit

Team Spirit entered The International last year as the favorites to win, but lost to Team Falcons in the group stage, who went on to win the entire thing. But since their loss at TI, Team Spirit have fallen off a cliff, mainly due to roster instability.
The team’s mid-laner, Larl, had to go through hand surgery. He was forced to take several breaks from competition, which affected Team Spirit’s results as they were forced to bring in substitutions.
Now, Larl has finally returned to the lineup, and a Team Spirit in full force look like a massive threat once again. They’re looking to make up for that lost time and prove they can become the best team in the world again.
#3 Team Liquid

Team Liquid went through one of the biggest rebuilds after The International. The core roster pretty much merged with their former arch-nemesis, Gaimin Gladiators, adding Ace and tOfu to the lineup.
Of course, such a massive change required the team several months to adjust and stabilize. But heading into the rest of 2026, it looks like they’ve figured things out and the lineup is now in full effect.
Team Liquid are already looking like one of the best teams in the world, almost always making it to the final day of every event, and even winning BLAST Slam VI to boot.
#2 Team Falcons

The reigning TI champs are still one of the best teams in the world. Team Falcons have some of the best players in the world in every role, and they’ve already shown they can win the Aegis.
Team Falcon’s results have slowed down since their monumental victory, but that’s to be expected. Teams that have just won TI tend to get a huge target on their backs, as everyone is watching their replays and coming up with ways to counter it.
But even with the pressure of being the team everyone wants to beat, Team Falcons are still more than capable of winning tournaments at any given time.
#1 Tundra Esports

Though they aren’t too far ahead of our previous two entries, Tundra Esports have proven themselves to be the current best team in 2026.
Tundra were already a strong team last year, but they powered up even more when Pure joined the lineup. In only four months after he joined the team already won three S-tier tournaments and have shaped up to be the best team in the world.
With 33 captaining the roster, it’s really hard to go wrong. However, Tundra have to work hard to maintain their ranking, as every other team is aiming to take them down.
