best dota 2 players in 2026

In 2026, pro Dota 2 players are on another level, with a bunch of them even passing 17,000 MMR. However, not all of them can prove themselves on the big stage. Below we have ranked the top 10 best Dota 2 players in 2026 who have championship qualities.

Top 10 Best Dota 2 Players in 2026

We have ranked the top 10 Dota 2 players in the world right now. We primarily considered individual skill and overall contribution to their teams to come up with this list.

#10 Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko (Tundra Esports)

Pure is the most recent addition to Tundra Esports, and in 2026, we’ve already seen his skills on full display.

Everybody knows Pure for his extreme aggressive playstyle, as he’s always looking to push his hero to the absolute limits. The Russian carry loves making these high-risk plays that can come with high rewards, but there are also moments where things don’t necessarily go to plan.

Still, if we’re talking about the ability to single-handedly carry a game, there’s no question that Pure is one of the best in the role. When you give him enough resources and space to farm, he has the potential to completely 1v9 difficult games.

#9 Martin “Saksa” Sazdov (Team Yandex)

Saksa is Dota 2’s Mr. Consistent. He’s been playing at the highest level for over a decade, and his skills are still very much here. We thought we were going to lose Saksa when he planned to take a break from competitive play after TI14, but he changed his mind and ended up joining Team Yandex.

Saksa took Team Yandex, a group of Tier 2 players, and turned them into winners. Since he joined the team, Yandex have already won two trophies. He’s over a decade into his career and is still winning S-tier titles like PGL Wallachia Season 7. What’s the secret formula? We’ll never know.

#8 Neta “33” Shapira (Tundra Esports)

best dota 2 players 33

Image via PGL

33 is a living Dota 2 legend. People call him the nerdiest player in the world, and there’s a reason for that. 33 always comes up with the craziest builds and the most insane mechanics that nobody has heard of. He’s such a tricky player to go up against — not only is 33 extremely good at the game, but he does even more than just play offlane. He is also the drafter and captain of Tundra Esports, meaning he’s also pulling all the strings. There is pretty much nothing this man can’t do!

#7 Illya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk (Team Spirit)

Despite only being 23, Yatoro is already a contender to becoming one of the greatest Dota 2 players of all time. However, he hasn’t been in peak form throughout 2025 and 2026, which is why we have placed him at #7.

Yatoro really is a late-game specialist. He has some of the best itemization and decision-making in the entire world, which is why he always has the potential to carry an impossible game. He is what makes Team Spirit one of the best Dota 2 teams at coming back.

However, if we’re being honest, Yatoro hasn’t been too consistent in recent months, which is why we haven’t placed him any higher.

#6 Matthew “Whitemon” Filemon (Tundra Esports)

Whitemon is hands-down the best support player in the world right now, period. On the outside, he’s a very quiet, shy, and humble guy, but on the server, he’s a different beast.

As a position five player, it really feels like Whitemon has the laning stage completely figured out. You can always count on him to secure a strong lane for his carry, no matter what matchup he’s up against

Whitemon also has some of the best warding in the entire game – it’s hard to match his vision control. On top of that, he also operates extremely well with very low farm priority. Whitemon is capable of making game-winning plays even if all he has is a Boots of Speed and a Glimmer Cape.

#5 Danil “gpk” Skutin (BetBoom Team)

It’s safe to say that gpk is one of the best Dota 2 players and among the most naturally talented. You almost never see him lose his lane, unless he gets counterpicked with an impossible matchup.

He’s very good at choosing when to take fights, which is exactly why you’ll often see him finish games with very low death counts, even in the games where he loses.

The Russian mid-laner does his best work on flashy, playmaking heroes like the Pucks, Ember Spirits, and Storm Spirits of the world. This makes him one of the most complete Dota players around – enjoyable to watch, and to wager on; visit our Dota 2 betting page for more.

#4 Alan “Satanic” Gallyamov (PARIVISION)

best dota 2 players satanic

Teenage prodigy Satanic took the professional scene by storm in 2025 and is arguably the best individual carry player in the world at the moment. This kid can really click his buttons.

Satanic is factually the fastest farmer in the world right now. The numbers back it up, as he is the player with the highest average GPM and last hits in the world. To put it into simple words, there’s no one that can farm as efficiently as he does.

However, Satanic is still a very young player, and sometimes, the nerves can get to him. He’s going to need another year or two to become the best player in the world but is certainly on the right track.

#3 Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak (Team Falcons)

best dota 2 players malr1ne

Image via Valve

Malr1ne finds himself in the third spot on our list. He has incredible individual skill and is one of the most creative players in the Tier 1 scene.

Malr1ne has a great understanding of every 1v1 matchup. Even when he’s forced into an unfavorable matchup, he always finds creative ways to bail himself out of poverty – whether it’s by stealing the enemy wave or dodging the lane completely.

But that’s not all Malr1ne brings to the table. He has incredibly high outplay potential, which is why he consistently finds lots of impact in teamfights.

#2 Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf (Team Falcons)

best dota 2 players atf

ATF is a little bit of a polarizing figure in the Dota 2 community. He’s known for being very toxic with his love for trash-talking. However, it’s really hard to argue against him because he has the skills to back it up.

The 20-year-old is arguably the best offlaner player on the planet right now. He can play traditional heroes that buy aura items, or he can carry the game with greedy builds – he can do it all.

Similar to 33, ATF is also captaining and drafting for Team Falcons, even though he has some of the most experienced teammates in the world. Love him or hate him – he’s a boss.

#1 Michał “Nisha” Jankowski (Team Liquid)

If there’s one thing the majority of the Dota 2 community can agree on, it’s that Nisha is one of the top 10 Dota 2 players of all time – and in 2026, he’s looking like the best player in the world.

He’s a quiet guy who lets his skills do the talking; he’s literally the complete package. He can win his lane, play dozens of heroes, and has the ability to play any type of style the team needs – and he always does it at a high level.

For years, Nisha barely touched ranked matches on his main account, but in 2026, he climbed to the #1 rank in the world in just a few months. This just shows what he’s capable of when he puts in a droplet of effort.
