The professional Counter-Strike 2 scene has not been as entertaining as it is now for years. We have a bunch of different teams and personalities all competing to be the best, and the gap between the top dogs and the underdogs has never been thinner. Here are the best CS2 teams in the world right now.

#10 FaZe Clan

It’s hard to leave out the most entertaining team in the world from a best teams list, so FaZe Clan will take the number one spot. It’s been a rough time for FaZe fans as the team has struggled to find its footing in the upper echelons of Counter-Strike.

But even when they’re playing like a bunch of FACEIT Level 10s, you can always count on FaZe to just… find a way. This team almost got eliminated from the StarLadder Budapest Major by a Tier 3 team, but managed to survive and rally momentum all the way to the grand final.

Unfortunately, 2026 hasn’t been great for karrigan and the boys so far, as they’ve been struggling to find anything impactful this season. Still, if we’ve learned anything over the years, it’s that you can never count them out.

#9 G2 Esports

G2 pretty much plucked out the best Counter-Strike players in the Tier 2 scene and mashed them all into one roster – and it’s been pretty effective so far.

However, the issue with this roster is its consistency. Sometimes, you’ll see this group of guys make deep runs at top-tier events, but other times, they fall flat and get eliminated very early in tournaments.

The ceiling for this roster is extremely high, but to climb higher than #9, they’re going to have to figure out how they can become a more consistent lineup. After all, the team has some of the best CS2 players right now.

#8 Aurora

Aurora is one of the few squads that still believes in the power of a national roster. The Turkish squad always crawls out of the group stages to qualify for the playoffs, but they always fall short once they step into the arena.

For some reason, playoff matches have just never been friendly towards Aurora, which is why a true S-tier title has eluded them for so long.

In early 2026, the team took in rookie Soulfly, who has been gelling well with the team, but his addition still isn’t enough to get rid of the ghost of playoff inconsistency that still haunts them.

#7 Natus Vincere

NAVI is one of the most storied organizations in Counter-Strike, and for the past year, they’ve been in a bit of a rut. The Aleksib-led squad is pretty much the gatekeeper of Tier 1 – they consistently beat teams ranked below them, but struggle against those above them.

The team tried injecting a new fire into the lineup by promoting makazze from NAVI Junior. He’s quickly become a massive asset to the team’s firepower department, but still, NAVI just can’t seem to find the formula to lift a trophy.

#6 PARIVISION

PARIVISION are the true CS2 hustlers as Jame pretty much went all-in on one massive gamble. Instead of signing proven names, he dedicated himself to recruiting four rookies with no Tier 1 experience. They spent an entire year grinding through the trenches of online tournaments just to farm VRS points. And honestly, those sacrifices paid off.

With the addition of zweih to start 2026, PARIVISION shocked everyone by winning the first S-tier tournament of the year. Since then, they’ve been making deep runs at other premier events, so their win was no fluke.

Still, despite their recent success, it’s still too early to rank them any higher than #6.

#5 MOUZ

MOUZ have been a rock-solid top-five team for the longest time now. They have an extremely easy time advancing past the group stage, almost always securing their playoff spots without breaking a sweat.

You see them in every single playoff bracket, and sometimes, they even qualify for a top-four or top-two spot. But when it comes to the final step – lifting a trophy – MOUZ can never get it done.

These guys are undeniably an excellent team. They always make light work of teams ranked lower than them, but they always seem to get bullied by the elite teams we’re covering next. Either way, MOUZ is always among the options you’ll find when visiting the best cs2 betting sites, so keep an eye on their odds.

#4 Team Spirit

Team Spirit are currently in a bit of a rough patch after going through numerous roster changes over the past year, but it finally seems like they’ve settled on a winning formula. With players like donk and sh1ro leading the way, this Team Spirit roster has some of the scariest firepower in the world. Despite their individual skills, they haven’t bagged an S-tier trophy in a while.

Spirit also tends to skip a number of events during the year, prioritizing player health and avoiding burnout. Though that sounds healthy and all, this does mean they get fewer chances to play on stage. Still, if Spirit manages to sort things out, there’s no telling what heights these players can reach.

#3 Team Falcons

Even though they are yet to bag a premier trophy, Team Falcons still makes it into the top three on our list. They have, hands-down, some of the best individual players in the world, especially with the addition of generational talent kyousuke.

It feels like we’ve given this squad enough time to sort out their team chemistry and internal issues. 2026 is the time for them to wake up and show everyone what they’re actually made of.

With the sheer names on this roster, including superstars like m0NESY and NiKo, anything less than an S-tier trophy this year would be an embarrassment to the team.

#2 FURIA

FURIA were a massive surprise in 2025. For the first time, the Brazilian organization went international, picking up YEKINDAR – a player who had been in a multi-year slump – and molodoy, an unknown AWPer plucked out of the Tier 3 scene.

The entire community thought FURIA were crazy, but they clearly knew something we didn’t. The squad transformed into a legitimate title-contending team, even winning several trophies for themselves already.

When you add the two new additions, combined with KSCERATO stepping up, have been the secret formula for the team’s success. FURIA are playing some extremely entertaining Counter-Strike, and they’re winning matches, too. This earns them a well-deserved number two spot on our list.

#1 Team Vitality

There are absolutely no surprises here. Team Vitality are the undisputed number one team in the world. It feels like every single tournament they play, they have a 70% chance of winning it all.

With the addition of one of the best rifles in the world – ropz – Team Vitality is looking to outdo the legendary 2018-2019 Astralis era and become the greatest team in the game’s entire history.

They have some of the best individuals in the world. They have unmatched teamwork and perfect utility. They’ve already won two Counter-Strike Majors in a row, as well as dozens of other trophies, and they don’t look like they’re stopping anytime soon. In their current form, they genuinely look unstoppable.
