Asmongold Banned on Twitch and Reveals Health Scare

Zack “Asmongold” Hoyt has been banned from Twitch on his Zackrawrr channel, and he uploaded a video in response, also revealing that he had been busy dealing with a worrying health scare.

Asmongold is infamous for his controversial and blunt takes on serious matters, and the streamer’s political opinions have led to him butting heads with Twitch multiple times. The streamer has recently been banned from Twitch again, and viewers are speculating about what led to this. Asmongold posted a video confirming the duration of his ban and also revealed details of a worrying time in his personal life.

Asmongold has a health scare

The streamer talked about having to visit an ER in a recent video, explaining that he experienced a symptom “identical” to one his father experienced before being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Asmongold stated he was “petrified and panicked”, but he eventually went to the ER. He went on to say that the doctors told him to calm down, examined him, and informed him that he was fine — the streamer’s symptoms eventually went away on their own.

Despite Asmongold thankfully not being diagnosed with cancer, the streamer remains concerned and plans to get additional testing done to get to the root of his symptoms. . Asmongold also elaborated that he wasn’t streaming when he was hit with his latest Twitch ban, as he was stressed since the health scare began a few days before the suspension. The streamer joked that he was relieved when he discovered he’d be banned on Twitch, as that gave him two more weeks away from streaming and “to deal with this problem.”

Asmongold also stated that he believed he may have been banned due to controversial comments he made about migrants entering Ceuta in Spain, but he clarified that Twitch hadn’t confirmed the reason to him. He also said that he won’t apologize for anything, as people may “call him mean, but aren’t calling him wrong”. Asmongold did say he won’t stop speaking his mind, but would tone it down to avoid getting in trouble with Twitch all the time.

The streamer also stated his intentions of appealing the ban, in the hopes of getting it reduced to one week. He has also said that he may use the ban as a vacation of sorts, or stream on Kick, where he has been multistreaming since 2025. This is the most recent in a series of bans for Asmongold, but viewers of his stream were most pleased to see him in good form following his scare.
