Zack “Asmongold” Hoyt displayed his Kick earnings for a two-day period during which he streamed two streams on the platform and compared them directly with his monthly Twitch revenue, and the results were stark.
Twitch streamer Asmongold is a big name in the streaming world and the content creator has been exclusively streaming on the Amazon-backed platform for some time now. That’s why it came as a surprise to fans when he announced his plans to multi-stream content on other platforms, specifically including Kick. The streamer didn’t explain why he was expanding to other platforms at the time but later stated in a stream that Twitch’s inconsistent moderation team was a major factor in his decision.
He isn’t the only Twitch streamer to start streaming on Kick, as John “Tectone” Robertson has recently joined the platform. Asmongold has only been streaming on Kick for two days, but the streamer surprised fans by showing them exactly how much money he made in that short time. The streamer also compared his Kick earnings with his Twitch revenue, and the difference is massive.
According to Kick analytics for Asmongold, the streamer earned more than $36,000 in just two days over the course of two Kick streams.Â
Asmongold showed his Kick dashboard in a stream and viewers could see that the streamer had only been active on the platform for two days but already earned $36,910.68 during that time. In stark contrast, the streamer made $32,371.25 on Twitch in one entire month. Kick hasn’t signed a deal with Asmongold and he has earned the revenue with the Kick Partner Program, making the return even more impressive.
Asmongold made clear that his earnings are this big despite his not streaming exclusively on Kick. The streamer is multi-streaming content which lowers revenue potential on Kick. He also claimed that he has brought an influx of new viewers to the platform, which caused an extra load on Kick servers. The content creator alleged he could have made more money with more stable servers. Asmongold has also expressed agreement with Kick that streamers shouldn’t be given large signing bonuses for his multi-streaming, despite the apparent burst in attention being given to Kick as a result of the move.
Other Kick streamers have also shared that they’re making significant money by streaming content on the platform. Tectone has started to multi-stream his content on Kick and claimed he’s already making eight times his Twitch revenue while live on Kick. Prominent Kick streamer Adin Ross stated that he made almost $500,000 in just one month, even with an inconsistent streaming schedule, and claimed that he could have made even more if he had streamed every day of the month in question.
