WWE 2K25 is on the horizon and once again, there are multiple versions of the game on offer to players; but what’s the difference between each one?
2K Games is prolific when it comes to offering multiple versions of the same game. That’s especially the case with its annually released sports games, including the WWE 2K series. At least three versions of each game comes out each year, with plenty of vaguery regarding what’s on offer between each one.
For diehard players, though, the premium versions are worth considering. Here’s what each one offers and which ones are the best value.

There are three versions of WWE 2K25 available at launch; the basic version of the game, the Deadman Edition, and the Bloodline Edition.
As ever, the key selling points for the premium editions are bundles of bonus content including exclusive wrestlers, managers, and arenas. There’s also extra in-game currency and MyFaction cards. Here’s a breakdown of each version of WWE 2K25 and their pre-order bonuses.
WWE 2K25 ups the ante by offering a DLC pack alongside the full version of WWE 2K24.
Unlike previous installments in the series, players who pre-order the digital version of WWE 2K25 will receive a free digital copy of WWE 2K24. This offers a major windfall of content for players, and stands apart from what fans got in previous years.
Alongside this is the Wyatt Sicks pack. This offers a pack of MyFaction persona cards for Uncle Howdy, Dexter Lumis, Nikki Cross, Joe Gacy, and Erick Rowan. These pre-order bonuses are available for all versions of WWE 2K25, though the Wyatt Sicks pack is bundled in the Deadman Edition and Bloodline Edition of the game post-release.
WWE 2K25’s Deadman Edition includes the pre-order bonuses of the standard edition, the season pass, and an extra bundle of content based on the Undertaker.
The full lineup of content includes:
The Deadman Edition incentivizes players to also pre-order the season pass by offering extra content. The key add-ons here are seven days early access, extra virtual currency for unlocking characters, and the Deadman Edition bonus pack.
The Deadman Edition bonus pack includes two special MyFaction cards based on the Undertaker, a Brother Love manager, and a usable urn as a weapon. The extra offering is fairly light, but it ultimately serves as a value-add for those who would have otherwise purchased the season pass.
The Bloodline Edition takes WWE 2K25’s Deadman Edition and offers multiple packs of MyFaction persona cards and virtual currency. Here is a full breakdown of what it has to offer beyond the Deadman Edition:
For those who don’t get bogged down in the MyFaction and MyRise facets of the game, the Bloodline Edition of the game doesn’t have much to offer. The only major addition from a pure gameplay perspective is the WrestleMania 41 arena. Those wanting new playable wrestlers or extra skins for the established cast will be left wanting, however.
The WWE 2K25 Deadman Edition offers extra content on top of just getting the game and season pass, but there isn’t much difference between it and the Bloodline version of the game.
For players who were planning to get WWE 2K25 and the season pass, there’s no reason not to get the Deadman Edition. It adds a Brother Love manager, extra VC, MyFaction cards, and a full week of early access.
The Deadman Edition takes the Deadman Edition and adds a sizable helping of extra VC and several more exclusive MyFaction cards. While these might be of high value for some players, many will wonder why they spent the extra money.
