Cantarella is officially joining WuWa as a playable character, and data miners have already uncovered her full list of materials.
The Wuthering Waves roster just keeps getting bigger and better, and Cantarella is the latest proof of that. She was first seen in the After the Overture story trailer, alongside upcoming playable Resonators Ciaccona, Cartethyia, and Aero Rover. As the head of Fisalia, she’s arriving as a five-star Havoc sub-DPS, bringing team-wide healing, coordinated attacks, and damage amplification.
With WuWa version 2.2 launching at the end of March, there’s still plenty of time not only to save up for pulls and astrites, but also to pre-farm the materials Cantarella will require. Luckily, most of what she needs is already available in the current version of the game.
Players can level up Cantarella to 90 by collecting Polygon Core series, Cleansing Conch, Seaside Cendrelis, and loads of shell credits.
Cantarella’s upgrade materials are largely made up of Polygon Cores, used for both her resonator and skill ascensions. While they aren’t particularly scarce, farming them requires taking down specific echoes including Autopppet Scout, Carapace, Stonewall Bracer, Fission Junrock, and others.
As for Cantarella’s boss upgrade material, she’ll need Cleansing Conch, which is primarily obtained by defeating Lorelei, one of Wuthering Waves’ newest bosses. Lorelei is found in the Atrium of Reflections in Rinascita, and only appears at night between 18:00 and 6:00.
The final material, Seaside Cendrelis, isn’t available in the current version of the game, and details on how to obtain it remain unknown. Players will have to explore Version 2.2’s new zone to track it down.
Maxing out Cantarella’s skills requires Polygon Cores, When Irises Bloom, Lento Helix, Adagio Helix, Andante Helix and Presto Helix.
For now, pre-farming Cantarella’s weekly boss material isn’t a realistic option. According to leaks, When Irises Bloom will come from a new weekly boss named Fleurdelys, or Cartethyia. Fleurdelys’ domain is expected to open after completing certain parts of the upcoming main quest, similar to how previous weekly bosses have been unlocked.
Lento, Adagio, Andante, and Presto Helix are relatively easy to obtain, especially for players who have already farmed for Zhezhi and Shorekeeper. There are several ways to acquire them, with the most reliable method being the Abyss of Initiation challenge in Rinascita or the Misty Forest in Huanglong. Abyss of Initiation is likely the better choice as it also gives Polygon Cores. Alternatively, rovers can check the souvenir stores and shops in Jinzhou and Rinascita to purchase some helixes.
