All Trigger materials in ZZZ: promotion, skill, and core skills

Even though version 1.6 is still a few weeks away for ZZZ players, they can immediately begin collecting Trigger’s promotion materials now to level her up immediately when she becomes available soon.
Gone are the days of Soldier 11 being the sole member of the OBOL squad. In patch 1.6, a new S-rank agent named Trigger is coming to Zenless Zone Zero. While not much is known about her, she is confirmed to be an Electric Stun unit, much like Qingyi and Anby.
Trigger was revealed a day after Silver Soldier Anby and Pulchra, meaning there’s still ample plenty time to prepare materials for her in ZZZ. With the help of leaks, players can farm most of those materials ahead of time.
Trigger promotion materials in ZZZ
Promoting Trigger to level 60 will require materials including Stun Certification Seals of all types and a load of dennies.
Much like every other agent in Zenless Zone Zero, Trigger’s promotion spans six levels, with the required materials increasing for each level.
- Level 20: 4 Basic Stun Certification Seal and 24,000 dennies
- Level 30: 12 Advanced Stun Certification Seal and 56,000 dennies
- Level 40: 20 Advanced Stun Certification Seal and 120,000 dennies
- Level 50: 10 Buster Certification Seal and 200,000 dennies
- Level 60: 20 Buster Certification Seal and 400,000 dennies
The fastest way to get Trigger promotion materials in ZZZ
When leveling up stun characters like Trigger, Stun Certification Seals are required. The best way to farm these materials is by entering Combat Simulation mode and selecting Stun Drill. Prepare to drain a bunch of batteries, as she’ll need plenty as she levels up.
All Trigger skill level-up materials
Increasing Trigger’s skill levels means collecting a handful of Shocks chips, a Hamster Cage Pass, and a lot of dennies. Here’s the full list of required materials for each skill level.

How to get ZZZ Trigger skill level-up materials
Just like the previous upgrade material, players can gather Shock Chips by spending batteries in Combat Simulation mode. This time, they’ll want to choose Agent Skill and Current Test. Runs can use up to 100 batteries, depending on how many enemy waves there are to work with.
All Trigger core skill level-up materials
Reaching Core level F on Trigger demands level-up materials including Ferocious Grip, New 1.6 Expert Challenge boss material, and more dennies.
- A: 5,000 Dennies
- B: 2 New 1.6 Expert Challenge boss material and 12,000 Dennies
- C: 4 New 1.6 Expert Challenge boss material and 28,000 Dennies
- D: 9 New 1.6 Expert Challenge boss material 2 Ferocious Grip, and 60,000 Dennies
- E: 15 New 1.6 Expert Challenge boss material 3 Ferocious Grip, and 100,000 Dennies
- F: 30 New 1.6 Expert Challenge boss material, 4 Ferrocious Grip, and 200,000 Dennies
Once Interknot level 30 is reached, players can take on the Notorious Boss Hunt challenge, where upgrade materials like Ferocious Grip can be farmed. Keep in mind that players can take three Notorious Hunt boss drops for free per week, but any beyond that will cost batteries. Since maxing out her core skills requires a total of nine Ferocious Grip, it will take three weeks to complete the required amount without the need to use batteries. The best way to go about it is to visit Scott Outpost, locate Casper, and purchase Reserved Relics for 150 Z-merits each.
As of this writing, Trigger’s expert challenge boss material is still unreleased and will come with the version 1.6 update to Zenless Zone Zero.
