Adin Ross will return to Kick after all, here's when
Less than a month after declaring he was leaving the platform, Adin Ross has changed his mind and will return to Kick.
Streamer Adin Ross has been one of the driving forces behind Kick since its launch in 2022. He has almost 1.5 million subscribers and earning estimates of $50,000 per hour streamed. He’s also known for streaming with controversial political figures alongside playing NBA 2K and Grand Theft Auto V. However, the end of 2024 saw his relationship sour with the company. Ross finally announced in early December that he would be leaving Kick indefinitely. Rumors swirled that he would accept a deal with
Rumble, and Ross himself seemed to be interested in returning to Twitch.
Despite all of the gossip, Adin Ross isn’t ready to give up on Kick and will be making his grand return.
Ross will return to streaming on Kick in 2025
In a recent stream, Adin Ross seems to have mended bridges with the Kick CEO enough to return to the platform in 2025.
Adin Ross appeared in a
Kick stream
with CEO Edward “Eddie” Craven on December 21, approximately two weeks after he announced he was leaving the platform. He confirmed directly that at the latest, he would be returning to cover Brand Risk Boxing on Kick. However, Ross added that he would be live “very soon” and that something special was coming up.

The conversation between the two may come as a surprise to those who have been following the recent drama. Earlier in November, Ross started spreading rumors that he was thinking about leaving Kick. In response, Craven unfollowed Ross on X and accused him of engagement farming. The situation only escalated when Ross alleged that the CEO had offered him a multi-million dollar subathon deal. While he took down the original post, many saw Ross leaving Kick as the natural conclusion.
Other Kick stars may have conflicting opinions about Adin Ross’s return to the platform. Tyler “TrainwrecksTV” Niknam, streamer and alleged content advisor, posted in early December that he would try and bring Ross back. However, fellow core Kick member
Félix “xQc” Lengyel
claimed that viewership was better than ever without him and another recently departed streamer.
What happened to Adin Ross on Twitch?
Before announcing his return to Kick, Adin Ross said that he was planning on rejoining Twitch.
Much of Ross’s plan for leaving Kick revolved around getting his
Twitch account reinstated. After several temporary suspensions, the streamer was permabanned in 2023 after sharing bigoted content from his Kick chat. Twitch CEO Dan Clancy recently confirmed that Ross could rejoin the platform, provided he proves that he has changed. While it’s unclear exactly how the appeal process went, Ross has seemingly abandoned the idea for now.
Additionally, nothing ever seemed to come of the rumored Rumble transfer. YouTube also would inevitably find issues with Ross’ controversial content. At the end of the day, Kick may be the only place where he’s allowed to broadcast whatever he pleases.
With controversy following Adin Ross across streaming platforms, it’s unclear how long it will be before he gets in trouble again.
