Adin Ross Hits New Kick Viewership Milestone With Brand Risk 16

Brand Risk 16 ended with Yeraldin “Yera” González winning the headline match by unanimous decision, and Adin Ross also reached a new viewership milestone during his massively watched boxing event.
Adin Ross’ Brand Risk 16 saw some drama before it went live, as Wendy Ortiz failed to qualify medically for the main event match. This prompted speculation about whether Wendy was scared and backed out, and also rumors about Adin Ross banning her from future Brand Risk events. None of this was verified, and Wendy’s sister, Evelyn Ortiz, ended up taking her spot in the main event. Brand Risk 16 has since ended, but the fights weren’t the only highlight, as the boxing event set a massive viewership record.

Adin Ross becomes first English-speaking Kick streamer to surpass 1 million concurrent live viewers
Events are a major viewer puller for Kick, which is also why the livestreaming platform introduced Kick Events, which brings all the larger-scale livestreams under one hub. Just a few days after Kick announced this new initiative, Adin Ross’ Brand Risk 16 went live. This boxing event is arguably the biggest livestream for Adin Ross, as he goes above and beyond in broadcasting. Kick viewers supported Adin Ross, as his Brand Risk 16 livestream crossed 1 million concurrent live viewers just a few matches in. This is a major achievement for Adin Ross, as he reportedly became the first English-speaking Kick streamer to hit this milestone.
Colombian streamer Luis “WestCol” Villa is known for his Stream Fighters streams and still holds the biggest record for Kick viewership, as his Stream Fighters 4 reportedly peaked at roughly 4 million concurrent live viewers. Despite this, Kick co-founder Eddie Craven made an X post, praising Adin Ross and his Brand Risk event. The Kick co-founder also shared that the livestreaming platform was just a little under 3 million live viewers while Brand Risk 16 was being broadcast.
Adin Ross reportedly contributed at a little over 1.4 million concurrent live viewers at Brand Risk 16’s peak and was also averaging roughly 200,000 viewers on Twitch and 500,000 on YouTube while co-streaming. There have been rumors in recent months about Adin Ross retiring and the Kick streamer losing his momentum. However, his latest Brand Risk showing has proved that he still has the touch.

☑️ My View
Adin Ross has long since been considered one of the pioneers of modern streaming by many in the community. While this may be debatable, there is no denying that Adin Ross has been one of the most popular creators over the years. The Kick streamer has been embroiled in drama recently, even beefing with Eddie Craven and threatening to leave for Twitch. However, his streaming activities have become stagnant, with many wondering if he will stop creating content altogether.
Adin Ross appeared in a major livestream after a long time with Brand Risk 16, and he seemingly quashed the speculation about him losing his momentum. Kick has recorded some massive viewership milestones in the past, but they have mostly been in non-English livestreams. With Adin Ross reportedly becoming the first English-speaking Kick streamer to cross 1 million concurrent live viewers, the streamer still has the talent and could potentially regain his peak’s position if he puts in more effort and streams more consistently.

Khizar Mundia has been playing video games for as long as he can recall. Things have come a long way since the many days he spent playing the original NES, though. He now covers a variety of competitive games and esports, as well as the world of streaming, ranging from Twitch to Kick. If it’s of interest to gamers, it’s of interest to Khizar.
